Playing pro basketball has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. Being able to travel the world and get paid to play the past 5 years has truly been a remarkable experience. To get the opportunity to live in 7 countries, be immersed in different cultures, meet new people, and play basketball at a high level are memories I will always cherish. Since being back in the States in May, I have had a lot of time to reflect on what the next step is for me and my family. I got my Real Estate License in the summer with the intentions of just doing it in the off seasons, and then get into it full time when I was done playing. But when our daughter Rinnie was born in September, my mindset began to change. Having a family and being a father has always been a dream of mine too. And now that she is here, I look at life a lot differently. It has been amazing to be around family and friends and raise our daughter in our own home right here in our hometown in Illinois. On top of that, I have really been enjoying being a Real Estate Agent and adjusting to the new challenges that come along with it. I still love basketball, but I always knew there would come a time when I’d have to hang it up, and this feels like it for me. Being a father and a husband is the most important thing to me and that will always come first. Knowing that this is the best decision for us really gives me peace in walking away from a game that has been so good to me over my life. Thank you to basketball for giving me the life I had dreamed about since a child. Now, on to the next chapter of my life 👶🏼🏠🌾🇺🇸

Klay Thompson has the 4th most career 3’s in the history of the NBA, but it rooks 35 years of sacrifice and dedication. This is what he attributes this milestone to. “Just my love for the game. I love shooting the basketball. I was very lucky to grow up with a hoop in my driveway — a really nice one, break away rim, big backboard. It was always my source of joy and form of escapism for me to get away from school work or whatever chores I had that day. It was like my favorite hobby, just to go to the net. Swish. The fact that it’s amount to this, it’s incredible and it inspires me to keep going … it’s truly just because I love shooting the basketball so much. That’s always been my favorite thing to do.”

So grateful to you, all the fans who continue to listen to my music and come to shows. It has been 26 years since I came out of yeshiva on Friday afternoons to record my first album Shake Off The Dust. I would take the train to downtown BK and walk to Dumbo with a vision and a dream. I recorded those first songs mixing my two loves reggae music and Judaism in a way that felt natural to me. We played our first shows as band in New York City and the live energy was contagious. It’s been a bumpy road at times and at other has felt like I was being pulled up and lifted by angels around me. To Peterborough United, The club that has been my home since I was 6 years old. Little did I know then that this club would become such a big part of my life. I’ve been struggling. I haven’t been consistent on my socials lately, due to trying to maneuver through whatever I’ve been dealing with mentally. Since coming back to wrestling 2 and a half years ago, I’ve been very open and honest about things I’ve gone thru and it’s allowed people to connect with me in a way that has been truly humbling. I’m a firm believer in, everything happens for a reason…A couple days ago, while I was sitting with myself and trying to gather my thoughts. I was sent this video. It helped put alot of things in perspective for me. It reminded me of why I do what I do and why this journey has been so important to me. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS HAVING MY BACK.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life: I’m on my way Home to my hometown in Poland - it’s the first time in over 30 years that my Dad won’t be waiting for me at the station. He doesn’t even know I’m coming to see him: since August 6 he’s been in a coma and he will never wake up again.

I looked down at my foot... and this was still hanging on! We'd all been swimming in the creek, made it back to camp to hang out, and I happened to look down and realized I had a leech attached to my foot. A little salt was all it took, and he let go before I pulled him off. Just another story from a day in the outdoors. Would you have freaked out or handled it like this? Let me know in the comments!

Had one of my favorite 48 hours in Vegas ever. Got to watch Adele do her thing with my cousin, and then go to perform the second show of my residency at the The Cosmopolitan _lv with my opener Yamaneika who blew the doors off the joint, and then i taught her how to play blackjack and win!!! And I got a new jumpsuit to boot! I’ll be back in Vegas for show #3 on November 30th! See everyone else this Friday in Brooklyn at the Kings Theater! Let the good times roll!
