Throwback Thursday 🎋 From 2008–2010, the ASUS Bamboo Series brought nature into tech. The U2E offered optional SSD storage, U6V paired Core 2 Duo with NVIDIA graphics, and the U33 added Core i5 power, all wrapped in real bamboo. Would you use one today? #ASUS #Trowbackthursday

Read my case before buying:

Hi @ASUS! I'm Jacob, a 100-level Quantity Surveying student in Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria. My email for a student laptop sponsorship bounced. Would Asus be open to supporting a student with a device for my coursework? 🚀

Best

I've reached out to companies and creators, but I haven't received a single reply. I'm not asking for the newest laptop—just one that will help me study and complete my education. If anyone can help or even share this, I'd be deeply grateful. ❤️

Sending love from Brazil! 🇧🇷❤️ The TUF A14 is one of the ASUS laptops I'm most excited about. Please don't forget your Brazilian fans!

did the bamboo warp over time? curious about longevity

I don't usually ask for help publicly, but I'm running out of options. I'll hopefully be starting nursing college in about a month, but my laptop stopped working. My family is already taking a student loan for my education, so I simply can't afford another one.

@ASUS Can I get a free laptop?

Beautiful concept but the hardware is too outdated for daily use. Would you use one just for the look?

the bamboo era was peak aesthetic before everything went all silver and black

SCAM ALERT! @ASUS @ASUSUSA @ASUSMexico. My new PRIME B650M-A AX6 II motherboard was DOA. Instead of helping, their authorized seller & Amazon blocked my account and kept my money. This is how they treat customers buying "premium" hardware. DON'T BUY ASUS! 🚩 #ASUS #TechSupport

The bamboo aesthetic was unique, but it's a material that expands and contracts with humidity. Did that cause any structural issues over time?

Don't buy worst product ever ...
