ROSALÍA revealed that while filming her first-ever music video, “De Plata,” in Los Angeles, a woman stole her shoes, forcing her to chase after her to get them back. "This city is really, really, really special to me. Because here is where Los Ángeles was made. And not just Los Ángeles, so much of my music has been made here over the past years, you know? More music videos... and, actually, my first proper music video, it was shot here in L.A. And I remember we shot some—it was like 2018, 2019—and we, we shot some scenes, some moments on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I don't think we were—I'm not sure if we even had a permit for that! And I remember I was wearing these clear heels, um, stripper heels. And for one scene, for one moment, I decided that I would take off the shoes. And then, this bitch stole my shoes! Out of the blue, and, and she ran away with them. So, I had to run, uh, after her. And of course, I got my shoes back. Cos' I'm not gonna let anybody steal my pair of Pleasers, you know? Which were my favorite, my favorite heels that I had back then, and it was the only pair that I had, so. But anyway, long story short, despite, you know, getting my shoes stolen here in L.A., I've always felt very supported here, you know? Thank you for having my back in every project. Thank you, thank you for so much love."

We had some good times with Blockbuster didn’t we? Oh the memories of going in on a Saturday night to pick a movie with my brothers. I remember my mom wanted a movie so bad and it was all “sold out.” As my brothers and I went to leave the cashier was like “wait that movie just came in.” I was like 16 years old and that joy still sticks with me to this day. I wish I could remember what movie though.😂 You had to be there to understand. ❤️

Seeing the Grand Ole Opry come together to honor Dolly says a lot about the impact she had on country music and the people who knew and loved her. I grew up listening to Dolly with my mom and grandmother, so her music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Those songs bring back a lot of memories of both of them. ❤️ Dolly never forgot where she came from. She remained a woman of faith, kindness and humility no matter how famous she became. Rest in peace, Dolly. You left behind one heck of a legacy, and you will be missed. ❤️🙏

Okay, enough serious stuff for a while. Time for some fun with Lugnut! 😂🐾 One of my favorite memories of my boy. ❤️🐾 Granny had Loki’s favorite squirrel, Dad joined in, and of course Loki turned it into a game of keep away. 😂 He always knew exactly how to make us laugh. Every time I see his toys, especially that squirrel I had to repair over and over because he was always trying to de-squeak it and tear its poor ears off, I can’t help but smile. 😂🐿️ I miss these silly little moments more than words can say. I used to listen to Casey Kasem all the time, and back in 1983, I remember sitting there as he worked his way toward #1. Before he revealed the #1 song, he played snippets of all the songs that had made the list, and I kept thinking it was going to be “Islands in the Stream.” When he finally revealed #1, I was right. It was Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Hearing this song still takes me right back to that moment. ❤️🎶

I turned it on because it felt awkward to be in silence, but then I paused it for a moment because I was worried you wouldn’t be able to hear me… and now I’m wondering how to turn it back on again. And today, one of the songs I really, really love is—what was it again? Filter! It’s one of my favorite songs from that album, so I was really happy that she performed it too.

Yesterday I lost every ounce of STEEZE and composure as Faze came to my house. I don't even know how to express the feeling. When he left I started playing old songs and I lost it, I cried like a baby. Those were the songs that formed me, songs that moved my depth. This is what I feel the new generation music lacks, which is what I am trying to bring back with my new Album THE MEN, THE BOYS AND YOUR GUY.

Back in AZ getting the work in… Last time I was here, I still had my day job. That day was full of the things I love most. I trained my son and a group of DBs, got my own work in—Dilly Dallies and all—and made a Target run for a creator light so I’d have a setup for NFL Live with my favorite people. It’s wild how fast life can change. Had the privilege to see my guy Lionel Richie in concert yesterday and what a show it was!!! We laughed, we cried, we sang and we danced! I didn’t expect him to pull me on stage but I’m so glad he did so that I could give him his flowers…. I WOULD NOT BE WHAT OR WHO I AM WITHOUT THIS MAN! And that’s the truth. Also I remember singing his songs in my Top 40 band 😂 but that’s another story for another day. My favorite song has always been Endless Love. Thank you for all you are Lionel!
