Throwback Thursday!! 2-0 down in Turin? Never Say Never 🔴 The greatest comeback from the greatest era. Pure Manchester United joy ❤️ #MUFC #GGMU #ThrowbackThursday

That Juve team rolled off the tongue - Inzaghi, Peruzzi, Di Livio, Conte, Deschamps, Pessotto, Zidane Trivia fact - Igor Tudor was on the bench in that game

Wow...football was sweeter then

Saf schooled ancelloti here Andy Cole was phenomenal this season won a treble just for them to give rivaldo balon d'or one of the most unrealistic winner

The most glaring robbery in Balon D'Or history.

Proper football

Honestly...miss those intense moments

What a game

Pure footballing joy

Dwight yorke is a gem 💎

that header is classic. pure determination

Even that last goal from Cole .. the way he waved those 2 players . That is elite

I love this Club🥹🥰

@FrankieBozzz too much

Kfb

Same match cost keane n scholes for not playing the final

Keane got a yellow and missed the final

Without a doubt, Keane was like Roy of the rovers, along with beckham against Greece it’s the best one man team performance I’ve ever seen

He was a passionate character... A proper captain..I miss the old days

Totally agreed, it’s the Ferguson effect that we miss, happy days, fingers crossed that they return and real quick

Juventus going for their fifth consecutive European final

Roy Keane kick started that comeback with the bullet header.

Goosebumps 🥹🥹💪

When noone believes, Manchester United always rises to the occasion.

Facts!!

Zidane dived for Keane yellow

Yeah... proper dive

Still gives me goose bumps watching this. Superb squad back then 👌

classic united moment

Keane’s greatest game ? Sure felt that way at the time.

He was immersed in that second half and spearheaded the comeback...

And did that selflessly whilst knowing that he would not be able to play in the final.

Inzaghi was a bit special, tbf.

A clinical striker

@stevegaffney9 Was privileged to be there. IMO United finest ever performance alongside Benfica 1-5 and Madrid 3-3 both of which I was a toddler.

What a game!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀

The United we fell in love with

Yes!! The United I know.He United we love!

I am 🍒 Forever

“Inzaghi was born offside”

I will follow u cos u a red.. GGMU..

It is a great comeback but not greatest ever. @LFC 2005 is better for starters.

😂😂😂

Schmeichel looking bad on both goals

The second was a deflection

With Stam covering, there was no need to come that close to the situation

Missed calculation

Filipo Inzaghi. The offside landlord

I remember watched this game...watched alone in late morning (because I'm in east Asia) I overjoyed and screamed aloud until woke up everyone's in my house...memorable game, and it's more memorable in the final against Bayern Munich

The best game I have ever been to 😀

till date?

it is the best game, the best result was about a month later :)

Love inzaghi. Dude was a mile offside and he knew it. But he still complained lol. Imagine him playing today. He probably quit football early coz of VAR

Many goals would have been ruled out if VAR had existed back then.

100% imagine history would of been very different

Remember it like it was yesterday. Watched it with my Grandad, he hated Roy Keane and couldn’t bring himself to praise him at all despite how good he was that night 😂

Was that Carlo Ancelotti at the end?

Yes

That season script was the best story of footbal team season

NO script beats that... It was unbelievable

Football used to be fucking great man look at these teams, look at that ground, the kits, the commentary

The football we fell in love with.. was purely passion..

This is was the game that made Sir Alex Ferguson come up with the phrase "Inzaghi Was Born In an Offside Position."

Didn't even know about the phrase

He first said it post-game, long time ago in 1999 and said it again in 2007. It was hilarious af

What a game. How good football was without VAR

VAR is ruining the game

😂💯& the fantastic leadership, Roy Keane do isplahed that nighteans he well & truely earned his winners medal as he dragged UNITED into that Final even though heccollect thrcbolkingbthsy ruled him out of playing in The Final & the same applies to Scholes as his Goal v Inter😂

When again Dear lord When ???
