Dear Sikka Team That was a great decision to form a DEMOCRATS and to campaign for IBU NOON GOTHE. The Democratic Party was formed, and “Ibu Noon Gothe” emerged because of your team’s efforts. They succeeded in establishing that movement. In politics, there comes a time to make bold decisions,such decisions may lead to great achievements or may not succeed at all,that is the nature of politics. Everyone knows how Ibrahim Mohamed Solih came to power. After the #mvcoupe all MDP members and many Dhivehin wanted to establish again an MDP government. The 2013 elections were annulled twice until the opposition eventually won. Due to the MMPRC corruption and mistakes made by Yameen, people were desperate for change. Nasheed was disqualified from contesting by the court. He then supported his best friend Solih (and his cousin husband) to contest on the MDP ticket, who eventually won the 2018 presidential election with the endorsement of other parties. It was verbally agreed that there would be a midterm election after Nasheed was freed from the court verdict. However, everyone knew that this would not happen, and no one strongly pushed for it.ITS FINE OK. People did not know who Solih was until 2018. He was not widely recognized politically and had little political influence beyond his home island, Hinnavaru. To secure a parliamentary majority, Nasheed visited many islands, campaigned actively, and urged people to vote for MDP, noting that the party’s first government had been easily toppled due to the lack of a Majilis majority. However, what we later observed was that the Solih faction within the government and the Majlis openly used inappropriate and disrespectful language toward Nasheed, even in his presence. The Nasheed faction was sidelined both in the government and within the party. Meanwhile, Solih’s faction and senior members repeatedly claimed that the 2023 election could be won without Nasheed. Even in late 2023, the Nasheed team consulted Solih and attempted to reach common ground, but Solih’s team believed they could succeed in the election without the Nasheed faction. It is widely believed that Solih would not win the 2028 election, even with Nasheed’s full support and endorsement from FULL MDP TEAM,as the political landscape in the Maldives has changed significantly, and Solih is not seen as a strong candidate by many. Today is my birthday!🥳🎂🎈 I usually don’t announce it on socials, but this year I’m launching my new Chikai Films website! I’ve found that my film practice is very distinct from my art practice and it needed its own home. I’ll be posting new short films on the YT channel and the vertical shorts that you may have already seen here on X. I’ve realized that the characters I’ve created in my shorts is a direct reflection of my inner monologue and they also happen to be AI agents that I’ve created within my cinematic AI workflow that I have given names too. Everyone wave and say “Happy Birthday” to Kevin, the bonobo, who is officially 50 years old today! 👋🥳🎈🎉5️⃣0️⃣ At half a century old, he’s the Zoo’s oldest bonobo AND the oldest male bonobo in human care worldwide! Though he is considered geriatric, his age does not seem to limit his energy or personality. Kevin’s keepers share that his favorite foods are all carbs (like oatmeal, macaroni, etc.) and that he is most known for waving at his keepers and Zoo visitors. Kevin excels at his training as the first bonobo trained here to voluntarily participate in blood draws – a training that will help us continue to monitor his health as he ages! This milestone birthday is a testament to the phenomenal care that Kevin has received since he arrived at the Zoo over 30 years ago! Here at the Zoo, he receives dedicated veterinary care, a nutritious diet (more than just carbs, we promise 😉), enrichment, and more! Kevin has endeared himself to those who work with him, especially those of whom he’s bonded with for decades on end. ♥️ Happy Birthday, Kevin! 🚨 SOMETHING VERY BAD IS HAPPENING The top 10 stocks now make up around 40% of the S&P 500 AI-related stocks (direct AI + infrastructure) account for up to 50% The market has basically turned into one massive bet on artificial intelligence This is an overvalued AI bubble that's already inflating the entire market Big Tech - Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, and others - has been pouring massive amounts of money into AI infrastructure throughout 2025-2026 For 2026, projected hyperscaler capex is around $560-725 billion, with some estimates as high as $800-900 billion That's comparable to the telecom boom of the late '90s The money is flowing into data centers, chips, and energy infrastructure But here's the problem - monetization is lagging way behind Many AI projects, including OpenAI, are still losing money Competition is growing with open-source models, while regulatory risks and energy constraints are also becoming bigger issues Investors are paying for a future trillion-dollar AI market that still isn't showing up in actual profits Stocks have been climbing on expectations, not current results On top of that, the Shiller CAPE Ratio is sitting around 41x To put that into perspective: That's one of the highest readings in history, getting close to the peak of the 2000 dot-com bubble at 43x+ That's why I think the S&P 500 could eventually drop 20-30% or more, similar to what happened in 2000-2002, when the index lost nearly 50%, although today's market is more mature It's gonna be painful, there'll be a crash, and there'll be temporary damage But AI technology is real The models will keep getting better, computing will get cheaper, and adoption will continue to grow. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. There's a new AI-native IDE out there named Aide, and there are four things I like about it: 1. It's open-source 2. It's proactive and suggests changes before you ask 3. It uses an intermediate layer between the editor and LLM 4. It's SOTA on the SWE-Bench benchmark I'm excited about #3 because this layer (called "Sidecar") will help people connect any model to the IDE. While this isn't possible right now, it's clearly the goal. Sidecar is also open-source. As I write this, the code agent behind Aide, "CodeStory Midwit Agent," is second in the Verified SWE-Bench leaderboard (it finished in 2024 in the first place.) This is a huge deal! If I'm gonna have an agent help me code, it might as well be the best of the best. The proactive aspect is also cool: the IDE provides suggestions to improve your code without you having to ask. I recorded a quick video showing you how Aide works. The team behind the IDE partnered with me on this video. Right now, it feels like *everyone* is building AI-powered coding tools. Cape Coral TikTok mom influencer Marlena Velez keeps finding herself back in handcuffs over the same Target thefts that made her viral. Velez built a following of more than 500,000 on TikTok posting lifestyle content. Her videos centered on “get ready with me” routines, daily mom life with her two kids, fashion, home clips, and soft-life SAHM (Stay at Home Mom) content. In late 2024 she was arrested twice at the same Cape Coral Target within about 10 days. Investigators said she scanned fake barcodes at the self-checkout to ring up household goods and clothing at much lower prices. The first incident involved roughly $500 in items. She posted a TikTok the same day showing herself getting ready in the exact outfit and glasses later seen on store security video, then selecting the merchandise and loading it into her car. An anonymous tip from a follower plus her own posts led police straight to her. Ten days later she was caught doing the same thing at the same store with about $225 more in merchandise. Officers recognized her immediately. In March 2025 she pleaded no contest to two counts of petty theft and received 12 months of probation. That did not end it. On September 29, 2025, an officer spotted her driving and tried to pull her over because of an active warrant tied to probation issues. She fled. On October 12 officers located the same vehicle, saw her in the passenger seat, and found her moments later lying on the floorboard of the back seat trying to hide. She was charged with probation violations and fleeing and eluding. In June 2026 she was arrested yet again after authorities said she repeatedly failed to report to her probation officer, left her approved residence, and stopped logging her daily activities as required. What started as two petty theft cases at one Target has turned into a string of arrests because she kept violating the terms of her probation. I don’t think she can be saved.
