⏮️ Throwback to Trent Sherfield’s 75-yard catch-and-run touchdown vs. San Francisco 49ers on the game's opening play in 2022. #PhinsUp

I thought we were going to the Super Bowl.

Then he happened 😂

This was the pinnacle before the collapse

I was there. Was the birth of. Brock Purdy.

Genuinely thought we were winning it all after this play man. Then they ended up showing tuas biggest flaws

this was literally the moment i actually thought they were gonna win the super bowl..it actually was the birth of brock purdy

That was a smoked loss for us and the intro to Brock Purdy for the rest of the world

List of players who had their best #s with Tua: Sherfield Gesicki Jonnu Smith Waddle Hill Who else?

All down hill from here smh

I thought Super Bowl after this play. This was the start of the down fall for this team

All dolphins fans thought we were SB bound little did we know this was the height of happiness 💔

Tua got outplayed by Purdy in this game. Tua was awful

I thought it was wraps for the league after this

The highlight of my life, we shoulda went to the Super Bowl & beat my hometown eagles but injures destroyed us🤦🏾‍♂️

Then went on to get ass kicked by Purdy coming in for injured Garappolo.

Every dolphins fan remembers this exact moment… this was the peak of all peaks of hope for the dolphins faithful 😔

Cheat Motion offense starring Tyreek Hill. His head start motion sucked everyone on that side worried about his speed and it left Sheffield wide open and the safety flat footed committed to worrying about Hill. Once the NFL closed the loophole on cheat motion offense, it was curtains for the dolphins and McDaniel stopped being smart.

The lies I was telling at that point in the season, thought it was finally the year us fans have been waiting for

Same. I thought we were finally going to win a playoff game and make a decent run. Then all down hill quick.

This was the peak..and the drop was steep and terrible after this play and game

This was peak Dolphins football since Dan in 1994. Then it died.

Then we hurt their QB and started Purdy’s career by giving him his first win.

It was the last points scored by Miami that day. Also, 49ers found their QB of the future that game #FTTB

This was the peak

I was at this game 50 yard line 1st row on Miami side! This was like the first play of the game we were 8-2 I thought we were headed to the Super Bowl. Honestly it’s been directly down hill ever since! We hurt Jimmy G 1st drive Brock Purdy came in and ripped us apart.

This really was the moment I thought we were winning it all without a single shred of doubt. Then IT happened.

Peak life

It that moment, I thought, my god we are going to win the whole thing

Thought we were going to the dance. Turns out this was the last big moment in this regime. Crazy.

Sigh good times

Yeah, I hope we can do s repeat of that tomorrow in S.F.. i woild hate for us to start the season 0-2 before we even play our first home game.

What happened after this

I was at this game. Thought we were Super Bowl bound. 😭
