#ThrowbackThursday the historic pregame brawl in 1987 between the Flyers and Canadiens

I can honestly say I was there that night and it was awesome. I’m the guy that ran in the back and told him they were having a brawl out there on the ice.

I know this was at Montreal but I remember watching it on Prism... Gene Hart announcing the fights. All 28 minutes and no commercials.

I remember this. They always had to score at the end of shoot around. Flyers said F that.

When he cross checked Sanstrom, the NY media went wild but he had it coming. His nickname was “endangered species” and he never made a big deal about it. He basically said “yeah, I was a dick and had it coming.”

Remember it well.

I was at that game! It was hilarious!
