$Two air forces started the Pacific war. One trained its pilots, then kept them fighting until they died. The other trained its pilots, then often pulled many of its experienced combat pilots out to teach everyone else. This is one of the reasons America won the Pacific air war, let's dive in.. Japan's Elite Aviators At the start of the war, Japan had some of the finest fighter pilots in the world. The aviators who attacked Pearl Harbor were elite. Many had hundreds of hours in the cockpit and real combat experience from the fighting in China. Flying the nimble A6M Zero, they cut through Allied opposition in the early months of the war and earned a fearsome reputation. But Japan made a fateful choice about these men. It kept them in combat, more or less indefinitely. Japanese pilots flew mission after mission with no real system to rotate them home. They fought until they were shot down, crippled, or killed. It seemed ruthless and efficient. In reality, it was a slow-motion disaster. The Difference in Philosophy Because every time Japan lost one of those veterans, everything he knew died with him. America did the opposite. It regularly rotated many of its experienced combat pilots back home once they had done their share of fighting. There, they became instructors, pouring everything they had learned in real air combat directly into the next generation of pilots. So the two systems pulled in opposite directions. Japan's pool of skill drained away with every ace it buried. America's pool of skill grew, as each returning veteran multiplied his knowledge across hundreds of students. One nation was teaching. The other was simply dying. The Training Gap The gap became a chasm, and it was made worse by sheer scale. By 1944, the United States was training around 8,000 new aviators every month, each of them getting well over a year of instruction and hundreds of hours in the air before they ever saw combat. Japan could not come close. As its veterans vanished, its training program collapsed, and it was crippled by something else, too. Fuel. Japan was running so short of it that many trainees could barely fly enough hours to learn their trade. By the later part of the war, Japanese pilots were being rushed into battle with barely 100 hours of flying time, and sometimes far less. They were teenagers with almost no training, being sent up against American veterans who had been taught by the best combat pilots in the fleet. The outcome was no longer a contest. It was a slaughter. The Great Marianas Turkey Shoot Nowhere was that clearer than in the skies over the Mariana Islands in June 1944. When the Japanese launched hundreds of aircraft against the American fleet, they flew into a wall of Hellcat fighters, guided by radar and expert fighter direction that positioned the Americans at the perfect height and moment to strike. The green Japanese pilots in their now outdated Zeros never had a chance. In and around that battle, Japan lost nearly 480 aircraft, while the Americans lost only a few dozen. It was so one-sided that the American aviators nicknamed it the Great Marianas Turkey Shoot. Japan's naval air power, once the terror of the Pacific, was broken in a matter of days. Better Aircraft, Better Technology It was not only the pilots. It was the machines too. America kept producing better and better aircraft, like the tough, heavily armed F6F Hellcat, designed after studying a captured Zero and built to beat it. It could take punishment, out-dive and out-gun its opponent, and it was forgiving enough that even a less experienced pilot could survive his first fights and become a veteran. Over the war, Hellcat pilots claimed more than 5,000 enemy aircraft for a tiny fraction of that in losses. Japan, meanwhile, kept sending men up in the aging Zero, a plane that had been revolutionary in 1941 but was now underpowered, fragile, and outclassed. It was fast and agile, but a single burst of American fire could tear it apart, because it had traded armor and protection for maneuverability. Better pilots, in better planes, backed by better technology. The advantages stacked on top of one another. The Spiral Ends By the end, Japan had reached the final, desperate stage of the spiral. With almost no trained pilots left, and no way to make more in time, it turned to the kamikaze. A pilot did not need 500 hours of training to crash his aircraft into a ship. He only needed to take off, aim, and die. It was the last resort of an air force that had run out of the one thing it could never mass produce. Experienced men. America won the Pacific air war for many reasons. Its factories out-built the enemy. Its radar and intelligence gave it eyes the Japanese lacked. Its aircraft grew deadlier every year. But underneath all of it was something simpler. America treated its best pilots as a resource to be protected and passed on. Japan treated them as fuel to be burned. One of those choices built an air force that kept getting stronger. The other burned brightly, and then burned out. This was why America won the Pacific air war. I post a story like this every single day. Most people never see them. Follow so you don't miss the next one.$

One thing I can boldly say anywhere is that my wife and I started from absolute zero. When we met, we were both broke — no money, no stability, nothing was handed to us. We met in 2013, both squatting with different people (I was staying with my sister), just trying to survive. Together, we bought our first land, figured out how to get to work, and rented our first small apartment in Egbeda. Everything we have today was built from the ground up — with love, teamwork, patience, and perseverance. You don’t have to marry a poor man or woman, but for the love of Almighty Allah, be supportive of each other’s dreams.

About a year ago when I found out that Austin Metcalf was murdered by that moon donkey, I got really fed up. Enough to the point where I marched out to a four way intersection 3 separate times and held up a White lives matter sign. It still amazes me to this day the only people that seemed to have a problem with it were White people. We are living in a country that was built for Whites by Whites. And I can't even hold up a sign to say our lives matter without people taking offense. I knew our race was brainwashed and subverted to hate ourselves but to experience it in person just hit hard on a whole different level.

NASA astronaut and Air Force pilot Gordon Cooper wasn’t shy about what he witnessed. In 1951, while stationed in Europe with the U.S. Air Force, Cooper and fellow pilots observed hundreds of unidentified flying objects at high altitude. Their report was quickly dismissed—officials chalked it up to “high-flying seed pods.” Are you kidding me? In 1957, while at Edwards Air Force Base, Cooper’s camera crew filmed a disc-shaped craft land and take off in full view. The footage was sent directly to Washington—and never seen again. Years later, Cooper appealed to the United Nations, urging the formation of a dedicated committee to investigate the UFO phenomenon. He believed governments were concealing these encounters—not out of fear, but because of the advanced technology involved. One of America’s original space pioneers... and he was sounding the alarm. He had nothing to gain, and plenty to lose. #UFOtwitter #UFOx

The video shows the trials of the VT-1-1, a turretless tank with 2 x 105 mm guns, firing on the move at the Putlos training ground in 1976. The casemate (turretless) tank, designed for combat while moving, was introduced in Germany in the mid-1970s as a twin-gun casemate tank (the Soviet term for a "turretless tank"). For practical firing tests in the "target pass" mode, two prototypes were built in the mid-1970s. The first prototype, VT 1-1, was armed with two 105 mm guns, while the second, VT 1-2, was equipped with two 120 mm smoothbore guns. Additionally, the VT 1-2 featured a functioning autoloader behind one of the guns, with a firing rate of 10 rounds per minute. The vehicles were developed as part of the KPz 3 or Leopard 3 project. In both prototypes, the main guns were semi-fixed (with aiming and stabilization only in elevation). The chassis solutions were derived from the KPz 70 (MBT 70) program, with the running gear shortened by one road wheel (five road wheels per side). The vehicles weighed 36.8 and 43.5 tons, respectively, with a chassis rotation speed of 60 degrees per second. To achieve high maneuverability on rough terrain, 12-cylinder diesel engines from the MB 873 series with enhanced power were used, equipped with four turbochargers: 2000 hp for VT 1-1 and 2200 hp for VT 1-2. This provided an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 54 and 50 hp/ton, respectively, with acceleration to 55 km/h in 11 seconds, though only in a temporary "turbo" mode, as the standard power was 1600 hp. The accuracy of firing with two guns was unmatched by single-gun tanks, as confirmed by the tests. However, due to the novel combat approach, this revolutionary tank concept was rejected by the customer after trials in favor of the conventionally designed Leopard 2. In essence, although the project was developed as the Leopard 3, a tank for the future, it was, in reality, a parallel project and a potential competitor to the Leopard 2. Achieving the firepower, protection, and mobility of the Leopard 3 within reasonable weight limits was impossible with a conventional layout. At the same time, a significant tactical drawback of the casemate concept (including twin-gun casemate vehicles) is the linkage between the direction of fire and the direction of movement, which in many cases could complicate unit and formation control (according to German experts in the 1970s). Moreover, the VT 1-1 and VT 1-2 can hardly be considered balanced vehicles—they could have been simpler. The vehicles' mobility was exaggerated, with the main engine, transmission, auxiliary engine, batteries, and other systems occupying two-thirds of the vehicle's length. Pros and Cons of VT 1-1 and VT 1-2: Considering the key challenges, the twin-gun casemate concept can be evaluated as follows: Pros: Compact design due to a small internal volume. Two guns provide high firepower and hit probability. Cons: The weight advantage of the casemate design is largely offset by the integration of a second gun. Fire control alone results in high complexity, leading to increased maintenance costs and overall expenses. In 1975/76, five Gefechtsfeldversuchträger (GVT, combat test platforms) were developed and built for further mobility and concept trials. These were smaller than the VT 1-1 and VT 1-2, weighing 30 tons. The GVT 01-05 were equipped only with mock-up guns and laser firing simulators (TALLISSI) and telemetry systems, built using chassis components from the Leopard 1. The GVTs were used at the IABG facility in Lichtenau and the tank training school in Munster to test the twin-gun turretless tank concept in realistic exercise conditions, which is why five vehicles were built. However, the Leopard 2 was already in production, and tank crews showed little enthusiasm for this unconventional vehicle requiring a new approach.

Pi was built when there were already agent harnesses around. Here’s why Mario Zechner(Mario Zechner), found them suboptimal and built Pi, a minimalist self-modifying agent: #1 - Mario initially was a believer in Claude Code: "I was a believer in Claude code because they were the first that packaged agentic search up in a really compelling package. And at the time that fit my workflow really well. Everything around the LLM was kind of nice and tidy and easy to understand. I was super happy. I was proselytising Claude code." #2 - Reverse engineering Claude Code highlighted the degradation that Mario felt as a user: "I personally like simple tools that are stable and that I can rely on. Even if they have non-deterministic parts, all the deterministic parts should be as stable as possible. That was just not the experience with Claude Code around summer 2025. They would take away your control of the context. They would inject stuff behind your back, which is bad. Then, your workflows stopped working because there's now a system reminder that you don't even see in the UI that would modify the behaviour of the model. They would also do this to the system prompt. I built a little service where I can track the progression or evolution of the system, prompt and tool definitions and, with every release, it was messing with stuff. That just messed with my workflows and I don't appreciate that." #3 - PI was built with an appreciation for simple and reliable tools: "If I commit to a development tool, I want it to be a stable, reliable thing like a hammer. I don't want my hammer to break a different spot every day. That's terrible. We need somebody who goes the full velocity kind of way. But I don't want to work with a tool like that."

This 24-year-old solo founder generated $98,489 in 30 days without writing a single line of code or paying expensive Shopify app fees. He doesn’t have a dev agency. No team of UI/UX designers. No thousand-dollar monthly software stack. He built an automated "e-com engine" using an all-in-one AI store builder called Amboras. The system works like this: Upload 1 product photo → AI generates copy, pricing tiers, upsells & visual banners in seconds → Built-in e-com logic formats high-converting pages → Text-based AI agent manages reviews, countdown timers, and layouts on the fly. 3 ways creators & founders are monetizing this right now: > 1. Rapid Dropshipping & Product Testing: Launch fully functional product pages in minutes to test viral TikTok/Reels hooks with near-zero overhead. > 2. High-Ticket Agency Services: Build complete, high-converting stores for local clients in 24 hours instead of weeks. > 3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Charge brands monthly retainers to continuously inject automated upsells and dynamic review blocks via simple prompts. He didn’t spend weeks waiting on developers or setting up 15 different Shopify plugins. He took a unified AI workflow, automated the entire storefront architecture, and scaled a brand single-handedly. In the AI-native e-commerce era, execution speed and zero friction are the ultimate leverage.

CM Devendra Fadnavis dhoptoying Maharashtra media, influencers, real estate and infra experts: "It seems some people are born only after a crore of liars have passed away. They don’t even feel ashamed to lie! Even after the connecting link has commenced, they come on TV the very next day and spread lies. I am telling you the absolute truth - they couldn't have been born without a crore of liars preceding them. But let me tell you one thing: we have all witnessed what happened with the connecting link. The deception has been completely exposed. At the same time, it was because the Mahayuti govt had the courage that we successfully built and demonstrated this connecting link. Back when the Konkan Railway was to be built, people used to say the exact same things - that this railway would never work, that it shouldn't be built, and that landslides would occur. But a man named Madhu Dandavate had the courage; he stood up and said, 'We will build it!' And it was built. After it was constructed, landslides did occur almost every year for nearly 15 years. But each year, we learned from it, carried out the necessary work, and eventually stopped the landslides from happening. Imagine if, out of fear, the Konkan Railway had never been built at all, what would the situation be today? The history of this 'Missing Link' is very similar. During the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government, a proposal regarding this missing link was prepared. However, the then-Honorable Chief Minister wrote a two-page note, cited 14 different reasons, and shut down the file, declaring that this missing link could not be built. 14 reasons were given! But remember this: "Girte hain shah-sawar hi maidan-e-jung mein, Woh tifl kya gire jo guthnon ke bal chale."

Looting, Arrest & Murder There were darker stories unfolding around 9/11 that rarely get talked about. Looting: In November, the New York Post ran the headline “RANSACKING RATS IGNORED DEATH ALL AROUND THEM,” reporting that more than a dozen people had been accused of looting around Ground Zero. Stores in and around the World Trade Center were hit, with watches, electronics, clothing and other merchandise taken from the wreckage. Arrest: Photographer Bolivar Arellano captured this striking image of a handcuffed man in Lower Manhattan. In the Naudet footage, you can actually see Bolivar notice the man before moving in and taking the photograph. My understanding is that the man was detained amid the fear and suspicion of that morning but was never charged, and his identity never became public. Murder: Around 11:40 p.m., just 20 minutes before September 11 ended, Polish immigrant Henryk Siwiak was shot and killed in Brooklyn while trying to get to his first night at a new job. He had gotten bad directions and ended up in the wrong neighborhood. His murder remains unsolved. One day, three very different stories from the chaos surrounding it. thank you John's Gimpy Halloween Hand for your insights on this story.

Macchi C.205 pilots of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana with their fighters still in Luftwaffe markings in early 1944 full clip: The Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana was the air force of the Italian Social Republic, the World War II German puppet state in Italy after the 1943 armistice divided the nation. It received numbers of Italian aircraft, later augmented with their own local production, and further aircraft from Germany. This force was opposed to the Aviazione Cobelligerante Italiana, the Italian pro-Allied air force, though they never actually met in combat. The Macchi C.205 Veltro was an Italian World War II fighter aircraft built by the Aeronautica Macchi. Along with the Reggiane Re.2005 and Fiat G.55, this plane was one of the three "Serie 5" Italian fighters built around the powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. The C.205 was a development of the earlier C.202 Folgore. With a top speed of around 640 km/h and equipped with a pair of 20mm cannon as well as 12.7mm Breda machine guns, the C.205 was highly respected by Allied and Axis pilots alike. Widely regarded as one of the best Italian fighters of World War II, it proved to be extremely effective, destroying a significant number of Allied bombers. The Macchi C. 205 also proved capable of meeting advanced Allied fighters on relatively equal terms. While able to match the best Allied opponents in speed and maneuverability, the type's impact was limited as it was introduced late in the conflict. Due to the limitations of the Italian war economy, only a small production run was delivered before the end of the war. Like the Spitfire, the Veltro was challenging in its construction and slow to build. Italy's highest-scoring ace, Adriano Visconti, achieved 11 of his 26 credited victories in the few weeks he was able to fly the Veltro, with Sergente Maggiore pilota Luigi Gorrini shooting down 14 enemy aircraft plus six damaged with the C.205. A total of 29 C.205s reached northern airfields to be used by the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana. Macchi produced the remaining 72 aircraft of the third series for the ANR before production was shut down by Allied bombing in May 1944. Statistics on aircraft production post-Armistice are unclear and incomplete. In general, C.205s fought well in ANR service: they were attached to units that had homogeneous equipment, or at least of comparable quality, and were guided by German radar stations. Though few in number, they achieved success in inflicting losses on Allied bombers and fighters. A few Veltros were delivered to 3° Gruppo, based in Vicenza, while further Veltros were scattered throughout other small units. The 1° Gruppo C.T. of the ANR based at the Campoformido airfield was equipped with C.205 and its first operation on 3 January 1944 was a success. led by Italian ace Capitano Adriano Visconti, a formation of Boeing B-17 Flying Fortresses and their escort of Lockheed P-38 Lightnings bombing factories in Villar Perosa was intercepted, and four of the escorts were shot down. The aircraft were still in Luftwaffe markings as seen in this footage. On 28 January, the C.205s, now with Italian markings, succeeded in shooting down a B-24 Liberator, their first four-engined American bomber. This air victory was credited to Sergente Marconcini, Visconti's wingman. By 25 February, 1° Gruppo C.T. had reported 26 victories for nine losses. An extremely bitter aerial combat took place on 11 March, where the Italians claimed 12 victories while losing three of their own pilots. These included 1st Lt Boscutti, who was reportedly killed by gunfire from a US P-38 Lightning after he had bailed out from his stricken fighter and was hanging from his parachute. On 18 March, 30 C.205s from 1° Gruppo C.T. and 60 Bf 109s from JG.77 tangled with about 450 Allied bombers and their escorts, shooting down at least four enemy aircraft. Corp. Zaccaria was killed in action, again apparently shot at by a P-38 after bailing out. Allied bombing in April 1944 destroyed most of the Macchi and Fiat facilities, bringing fighter production to an end. With production interrupted, the Italians were forced to re-equip their three groups almost fully with Bf 109s, largely because the Germans were quick to offer some of their best models, including Bf 109G-6s and Bf 109K-4s. The Allies were less generous with the Aviazione Cobelligerante Italiana, and Veltros, including some upgraded C.202s, were slowly replaced with worn-out P-39s and Spitfires, but not before Summer 1944. #macchi #c205 #veltro #anr #ww2 #wwi #sgm

🚨🇲🇽 GEN Z VS. THE PALACE - MEXICO’S NEW REBELLION HITS THE FRONT GATES Mexico’s youth revolt just made a hard pivot from hashtags to the doorstep of power - and Claudia Sheinbaum is learning fast that metal barricades don’t stop a generation raised on boss-level gameplay. The Gen Z anti-cartel movement, already the loudest thing in Mexico since the last peso crisis, pushed straight toward the Palacio Nacional. Sheinbaum threw up fresh walls days ago - a symbolic panic button in steel - but the crowd didn’t blink at all. They swarmed it, shook it, and ripped pieces down like it was bad set design. Riot police responded with shields locked in a Roman testudo, the kind of formation that screams “We were not trained for this many teenagers with unlimited stamina and zero fear.” It’s ancient warfare meets TikTok adrenaline. This is far from a protest anymore. It’s a generational indictment of a government seen as too cozy with the cartels, too slow on justice, and too proud to admit the country is bleeding. Sheinbaum wanted containment. What she got was a youth movement testing the perimeter of the presidency itself. If the palace line breaks - even symbolically - game over. If police crack down hard, the movement explodes. If the government hesitates, it looks weak. Mexico hasn’t seen a stress test like this in decades. And Gen Z? They’re just getting warmed up. Woah… the Tesla Semi is no joke. Tesla has engineered what might be the best Class 8 truck in the world. Straight from Jay Leno’s Garage review of the production model, here are the key stats: • 500-mile Long Range and 325-mile Standard Range options — both tested fully loaded at max payload (82,000 lbs gross combination weight) • 1.2 MW Megacharging recovers ~300 miles (~60% of the battery) in just 30 minutes — perfect timing for mandatory driver breaks • Aerodynamic drag coefficient of ~0.4 (7% improvement), thanks to the bullet-shaped cab and center-driver seating • Million-mile durable battery using the same advanced cells as the Cybertruck • Operating costs up to 50% lower than diesel in California and nearly 20% cheaper per mile nationwide — energy, maintenance, no oil changes • Jay Leno hauling 60-70k lbs GVW: “I don’t even feel like I’m pulling anything…” • Real-world fleet: over 13.5 million miles logged, with one truck approaching 440,000 miles at 95% uptime • ~1,000 lbs lighter overall + 2,000 lb EV weight exemption = true payload parity with diesel trucks • Insanely strong regenerative braking — descends steep grades at highway speed with almost zero service brake use • Proven in Alaska winters with efficient heat pump and minimal range loss • Turning radius like a Model 3/Y despite being a full-size Class 8 truck • New dedicated Semi factory near Giga Nevada is ramping high-volume production this year (tens of thousands annually) with strong fleet demand already locked in If I were running a logistics business, the Tesla Semi would be a no-brainer. Lower total cost of ownership, superior performance, zero tailpipe emissions, and a clear path to autonomy. Diesel’s days are numbered. 🚛⚡ Dan Priestley Tesla Semi Elon Musk

New mattress unboxing and I have THOUGHTS. My old mattress had full Shelli-shaped dents in it. I am talking body impressions. I was waking up every single morning with sore hips and sore shoulders because I am a side sleeper and my mattress had basically molded itself around my old body and never updated. I knew I needed a new one. I found a memory foam mattress for about $150 and yes I financed it and yes it was worth every penny. Shout out to whoever recommended this one, I cannot remember who you are but I owe you one❤️ Four nights in. Here is the honest report: Night 1: Rough. Different feel, different position, brain would not settle. Normal. Night 2: Woke up with ZERO hip pain. Zero shoulder pain. I just laid there for a second because I could not believe it. Night 3: Slept like an absolute log. Night 4: Same. No hips. No shoulders. No back pain. Four nights. Now let me tell you why this matters beyond just comfort. Sleep is not optional on a healing journey. It is not a bonus. It is the foundation that everything else is built on. While you sleep your body: Regulates cortisol, and high cortisol is one of the biggest stall factors nobody talks about. Repairs tissue and reduces inflammation, the very inflammation we are trying to heal with what we eat. Balances hunger hormones, poor sleep spikes ghrelin (the hunger hormone) and crashes leptin (the fullness hormone), which means you wake up ravenous and nothing satisfies you. Processes and consolidates memory and emotional regulation, this is why sleep deprivation makes anxiety and depression so much worse. Supports insulin sensitivity, bad sleep alone can cause blood sugar dysregulation even if you are eating perfectly. You can be eating the cleanest carnivore on the planet and sleeping on a mattress that is destroying your sleep quality and wonder why you are stalled, inflamed, anxious, and exhausted. I was that woman. I am not saying go buy a mattress. I am saying your sleep environment matters as much as what is on your plate. If you are waking up in pain every day that is inflammation before you even start your morning. Fix the sleep. Everything else works better. $150. Financed. No regrets. I’ll drop the 🔗 below if you want to check it out.🛌🥱

95% of Healthcare data lives in petabytes of SQL databases The tools for AI to use that data haven't existed Today we fix that with TextQL Healthcare 100,000+ tables. Trillions of rows. Petabytes of data. 15 minutes to insights. Epic systems with 100,000+ tables. Cerner environments. Claims databases. Clinical notes. Prior authorizations. Healthcare organizations have more data complexity than any other industry - and exactly zero AI platforms built to handle it. Until now. Here's what makes it different: 1. Direct access to ALL your systems. No migration required. Epic + Cerner + Claims + Snowflake + Databricks. Everything. At once. Other platforms: 6-month ETL projects. TextQL: Connect Monday. Query Tuesday. First insights in 15 minutes. 2. Healthcare-compliant execution environment. Autonomous agents running production code in SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Full audit trails. On-premise deployment available. 3. Structured AND unstructured data. Simultaneously. Everyone else: Claims records OR clinical notes. Us: Both. At the same time. Make sense of 100,000s of tables without months of data prep. We're not launching with pilots. We're launching with Lumeris - powering their Tom™ AI platform delivering care to millions of Americans. Live partnership. Production workloads. Enterprise healthcare data at scale. Advisory Board of operators who've run organizations serving 120M+ Americans: - Varsha Rao (former CEO Nurx, COO Clover Health) - David Griffith (Trinity Life Sciences, ex-Pfizer) - Sam Mohanty (former CDO, Prime Therapeutics) - Jean-Claude Saghbini (CTO, Lumeris) - Raghu Chandra (30 year EHR Veteran) These aren't advisors. On this date 22 years ago on March 20, 2004, Alabama Men’s Basketball delivered one of the most stunning NCAA Tournament upsets in program history, rallying from a 13-point second-half deficit to take down No. 1 seed Stanford, 70-67, in Seattle. The eighth-seeded Crimson Tide looked dead in the water midway through the second half. Stanford, powered by Pac-10 Player of the Year Josh Childress and carrying a dominant 30-1 record, had built a 53-40 lead with just 7:40 remaining. Everything pointed toward a routine closeout by the top seed. Then came the surge that Alabama fans still talk about today. The Tide flipped the game on its head with a breathtaking 16-0 run, turning a double-digit deficit into a lead in a matter of minutes. The momentum inside the arena shifted completely as Alabama’s defense tightened and Stanford suddenly had no answers. Kennedy Winston led the charge with 21 points, while Earnest Shelton poured in 14 to help ignite the comeback. Chuck Davis and Antoine Pettway each added 12 points, and Alabama showed poise at the line—knocking down 10 of 14 free throws in the closing minutes to seal the upset. Childress, held to 12 points, fouled out with 3:18 remaining and could only watch from the bench as the Tide completed the shocker. In the Alabama locker room afterward, a sign summed it up perfectly: “They weren’t overrated. We were underrated.” The victory sent shockwaves across college basketball, landing Alabama on the cover of Sports Illustrated and propelling the program to its first Sweet Sixteen appearance since 1991—a moment that still stands as one of the defining wins of the modern era of Crimson Tide basketball.

This is big... Anthropic just announced a model so powerful they won't release it to the public out of fear over the damage it will cause 😨 Claude Mythos Preview found thousands of zero-day exploits in every major operating system and web browser... The numbers are hard to believe: > $50 to find a 27-year-old bug in OpenBSD, one of the most security-hardened operating systems ever built > Under $1,000 to find AND build a fully working remote code execution exploit on FreeBSD that grants unauthenticated root access from anywhere on the internet > Under $2,000 to chain together multiple Linux kernel vulnerabilities into a complete privilege escalation exploit For context: these are the kinds of findings that previously required elite security researchers working for weeks. Anthropic engineers with no formal security training asked Mythos to find exploits overnight. They woke up to working code the next morning. The results were so impressive Anthropic assembled Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA, and seven other organizations into Project Glasswing: A $100M defensive coalition. They're not releasing this model publicly. Instead, they're racing to patch the world's infrastructure before models like this proliferate.

This is big... Anthropic just announced a model so powerful they won't release it to the public out of fear over the damage it will cause 😨 Claude Mythos Preview found thousands of zero-day exploits in every major operating system and web browser...
