WE MUST STATE IT OPENLY: Messages like this “Albania for Albanians” and “No foreigner to replce Albanians” are pure racism and must have no place in the protest. Those who are hijacking the agenda and the demands of the protest must not be allowed to do it, with conspiracy theories against Jews and anti LGBTQI narratives. We must voice our concerns about those deeply problematic messages, this is not us the Albanians, we are not like the minority who has the microphones in the protest.

We are aware of an incident inside a school in Ontario’s Halton region where a student was labelled a “terrorist” for wearing the keffiyah scarf. It is utterly appalling and completely unacceptable for this kind of anti-Palestinian racism to exist in our schools, let alone to children. Teachers and administrators are supposed to protect students from this kind of racism, not enable or produce it. We salute the courage of this young man in standing up against racism. Let’s be clear: this teacher has no place in the classroom. We are in touch with those involved, as well as local advocates like @MACCMuslim, to push for change. We will have more updates as the situations evolves.

The system was not meant that not -- we don't think there is anything that says… We are getting them out. And a judge cannot say no, you have to have a trial. The trial is going to take two years. No, we are going to have a very dangerous country if we are not allowed to do what we are entitled to do.
