We need to release LITERALLY billions of Guinea Fowl and Quail into infected areas to wipe them out.

Seriously guys. Ticks are bad this year already and it’s not even summer. If you aren’t setting up precautions against ticks now you are wrong.

Make sure and treat your local possums well, they eat their weight in ticks. Gave this little dude a drink of water the other night.

Snakes get ticks, it's always been common. I had Boas in college and would take them for walks... they would come back with ticks. But this new tick invasion?-- it's insane. I swear they just fall from the sky and land on my Dogs. Up until about maybe 5-6 years ago, I used to find maybe 1 embedded tick per year on my Dogs. It was like a big event removing them, and I would get tweezers and alcohol and make sure I was in a comfy spot for them for the procedure. Now it's more than a weekly thing and I'm just pulling the mfers off with my bare fingers wherever and whenever I find them, no fucks given. I can't keep up with them.

I used to live in Minnesota where we had endemic counties, where 1 in 3 ticks were infected with Lyme disease, babesiosis, bartonella, anaplasmosis, and a whole host of viruses, all that could be transmitted to humans. This is what our deer looked like

Over the last 5 years or so I've realized just how bad the totality of the continuous parasitic attack is - physical, emotional, medical, mental, spiritual, financial, political, etc...

I work in the woods a lot. This stuff works. Treat your clothing. Or become allergic to meat.

Jesus, the whole biosphere is about to collapse with this one. Probably the most horrifying bioweapon to date.

Not uncommon. Sometimes you find them on snakes. This was off a kingsnake with Snakeaholic back in December 2022.

I found ticks on me after walking my dog along the parking lot at my condo complex nestled between high rises in northern Virginia- there’s very few trees bc it’s mostly paved with only patches of grass and a designated dog area for potty. The ticks were both lonestar- baby ticks, so small and very light in color. I have never gotten a tick in nova. Until now. Only hiking in the woods. I’ve hiked the area my whole life-the last few seasons it has been levels beyond abnormal and obviously unnatural.

Snakes have always had ticks and mites. One of my jobs as a zookeeper was to give the snakes a bath and sanitize their exhibit if they got snake mites, they actually hide under their scales!

I have guinea fowl and my property stays tick free. They are loud when alerting, but I enjoy my tick free acres.

Take a look at how bird migratory patterns spread disease.

It’s not a totally new thing. The problem is definitely the uptick (I thank you) in occurrence. Tick check, always!

This is already a thing. I found a big snake in GA as a kid that was covered in ticks up around the head. Big ticks, too.

Huge uptick in my area — easily 10x more than previous seasons. This isn’t random. It’s deliberate. 🤬

just imagine if someone breeds the ones that make you allergic to meat and intentionally spreads them everywhere

Ticks have always been found on snakes. If you habitually encounter snakes in the wild, like I used to in my ill begotten youth, it’s pretty unusual not to find at least one on every specimen.

This explosion in ticks likely started a few years ago and is only getting noticed now. Surveillance of Lyme disease was poor during 2019 and 2020 but there was a massive increase in 2022 and 2023.

The tick explosion recently isn't an accident. They are rolling out Lyme vaccines (don't take it on a dare, many better ways to deal with Lyme) in 2027 and now boxes of ticks continue to be found all over the country. Ticks have been turned into bioweapons, carrying Lyme, Alpha Gal, and many other crippling auto immune disorders.

We were picking ticks off freshly imported ball pythons after arriving to the pet store. This is not unusual in nature.

It's fucking bad, but still not as crazy as these infected rabbits from last year. Looks like some kind of alien mite is bursting through It's skin. 🤢🤮
