Fabric dye, talcum powder & industrial colours found in SPICES meant for your kitchen. In a major crackdown, Hyderabad Police’s H-FAST and GHMC Food Safety teams raided 13 spice trading and processing units, seizing over 25 tonnes of allegedly adulterated spices. Police say the units were using: • Fabric dye (cloth dye) • Industrial-grade permanent colours • Synthetic food colours • Talcum powder (shining powder) • Rice bran oil Low-quality mustard was mixed with fabric dye, talcum powder and oil to improve its colour, shine and weight. Cloves, shahjeera and other spices were allegedly coated with synthetic colours to make them look premium. 3 FIRs have been registered and 3 people arrested. Samples have been sent for laboratory analysis and further legal action is underway.

Question: I am a youth whose part of hair suddenly started turning "Yellow" to the extent that people were calling my attention to it, is it permissible for me to dye the whole hair with Laali (Henna)? Summary of Dr Sharaf's answer: it is not permissible. The permissibility of dyeing hairs only apllies when one becomes old as seen when Prophet Muhammad urged Abu Quhafah (the father of Abu Bakr) to dye his grey hairs. He urged the questioner to visit the hospital for medical care as the yellow hairs coming out could be a symptom of a disease. He reinforced the prohibition of using black dye to hair and also talker about how young Muslim women dye their hairs in various colours all in the name of adornment, which unfortunately is a form of imitating the unbelievers. Futher summary latter, in sha Allaah.

Very likely the interlining is made from a cheap synthetic or cotton, which doesn't allow the tie to relax easily. In the original video, each tie is handmade, so the worker (tailor) can consider how the fabric and interlining (if one is used) interact. Thus, they can adjust the structure as needed, allowing for a more comfortable accessory. A very lightweight, slippery fabric might require a stiffer or thicker interlining to give the envelope some body. But a very thick fabric, such as wool, may only need light interlining. In this process, the interlining is almost always made from wool, a natural fiber that springs back into shape, allowing the tie to naturally resist wrinkles.
