that "we are one" moment while practicing el dorado #CHANYEOL : while we were practicing.. actually, for a song like el dorado.. there was some debate among us whether we should do the choreography or not. but in the end, we said, "let's show them our dance!" and went for it. but since it’s been so long since we performed it, we had to watch old videos to copy the moves again. at some point while watching, we were like, "isn't it this way?" "no, it's this!", but when we turned the music on, all of our movements just synced up perfectly. our bodies remembered it! that was really very "we are one"

I believe the UN Security Council decision to transform the Multinational Security Support Mission into a more robust anti-gang force is a step in the right direction. #WATCH | Delhi: Indian Army officer, Major Swathi Shantha Kumar, has won the UN Secretary General’s Award 2025 for her project 'Equal Partners, Lasting Peace'. She says, "I have been deployed in the UN Mission in South Sudan as the Engagement Platoon Commander of a team of 20 women soldiers who have been deployed since August 2024. We have just returned from the Mission area. This was the first time a woman peacekeeper or a team of women soldiers had been deployed in the UN Mission in South Sudan...We always conducted a gender-inclusive patrol, we ensured that women peacekeepers were always participating in operations and all activities. That is how we were able to move ahead in the Mission. This project is an indication of the actions which we have done because when we went into the Mission area, we realised that women soldiers are also required to be conducting patrols along with the male soldiers because it is very necessary...When we engaged with the community, initially they (women and children) had a little hesitation to speak to us. But once we started speaking to them continuously, we were able to get a good response from them; they were able to share their issues. This is what helped us in identifying that women's and men participation are equally important in peacekeeping operations. That is how we were able to conceptualise this project...We started conducting certain awareness camps against conflict-related sexual violence, we started sharing protection contact cards where we were able to share our contacts or emergency contacts and also identify certain areas or regions where we should be conducting more patrols. Because of the presence of UN in these regions, they were able to feel more confident and free in their movement..."

The IO (Investigation Officer) should be terminated. Second, action should be taken against guilty Police officers. Third, Police officials who presented our people before the Court and kept them at Police Station without even a case should be terminated...So, we demand that all Police officials who did this should be suspended.
