What I admire about PoliticsGirl is that she like me, just tells it as it is. For far too long alleged Democratic activist influencers have been fearful of upsetting the Democratic establishment for fear of being marginalised. There are tons of impersonators on TikTok using my name, photos, and videos, pretending to be me and messaging people. It’s frustrating, but honestly, I feel bad for them. I’ve been through a lot, but l’ve never had to pretend to be someone else. It’s sad to think there are people living like that. Please be aware of these scammers; what they’re doing isn’t right. I found out who some of them really are. Even though they’ve misled people, I worried about what might happen if I shared their identities, especially to men who thought they were talking to me only to find out it was a 52 year old man from Ohio or 33 year old man from New Mexico... I guess that’s just how my mom raised me - to worry about others, even those who don’t care about me. The internet can be cruel, but we don’t need to add to it. Please use common sense: I would never DM you from another profile when I have my real account with over a million followers on Tiktok. If you want something to be done about it, tag TikTok US TikTok Creators TikTokSupport I’ve tried countless times to reach out for help with this but the matter has not been taken seriously, so maybe if they see how this has affected the community hopefully something will be done.

I wasn’t going to respond to Candace publicly, but I was genuinely hurt by her accusation that I don’t care about who killed Charlie because I expressed concern for the lives of people who have been implicated in her series on CK’s murder. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Charlie was my friend. He encouraged me, prayed for me, championed me and gave me advice when I needed it. We linked arms for the gospel, and I miss that so much. I very much care about justice for him. But you know who cares about justice for Charlie far more than any of us? His family. His friends and colleagues who were with him every day. I trust that they are asking the right questions to the right people in the right way. That they are doing so in a manner that doesn’t stir up suspicion against innocent people. In a way that doesn’t hinder the actual investigation into who was involved in Charlie’s murder. I want to see due process play out uninhibited. And, yes, I do feel deeply for those who have been unfairly maligned by implications of guilt. That’s really scary, serious, and wrong. Most of all, I care about how Christians seek truth. “Just asking questions” isn’t a justification for slander. The God who created us and weighs our words has a lot to say about how we speak and what we seek. Today’s episode:
