Dave, you’re a little misled on this issue. FYI your content is fire 🔥. But let me explain a bit being in the industry. In essence, TikTok, or ByteDance, has been given eight months to divest itself and generate a revenue of $200-300 billion. However, they have opted against this move, citing concerns about “exposing” their algorithm. The question arises: what are they concealing? Why would they turn down such a substantial sum unless they are hiding what they were doing with the data? their assertion that this matter constitutes a “free speech” issue is a blatant deception that reveals the influence China exerts through TikTok in propagating its agenda to the American public. It is important to clarify that the government did not “ban” TikTok. Instead, they presented TikTok with a choice: to comply with safeguarding US users’ data on American servers under the supervision of a US entity that is not controlled by a hostile foreign entity. TikTok was free to continue operating without any restrictions if it chose to comply. It is crucial to note that the legislation passed by Congress did not include any censorship provisions. Therefore, TikTok’s decision to cease operations was a voluntary choice.

Why did Trump want to originally say TickieTockie needed to be banned

Dave, they are literally telling them to divest from a hostile foreign power. TikTok can operate here all they want, they just don’t have the right to be a weapon

Dave, Why are you platform agnostic? Because you understand the financial risks associated with being dependent. You learned it during the pandemic. Building a business solely dependent on a single platform like: Tiktok, YouTube, Meta, or X is bad business.

We have to get a handle on China and other governments having ANY rights or control of anything in the US. Land ownership should be WAY before TikTok….even though TikTok is trash

exactly you cannot just take what people have been working on for years away just like that, so many people built their tiktok brick by brick , with sweat and lots of hardwork it’s ridiculous just taking that away with no alternatives /compensation.. it’s job for so many pple

I mean they should have known the risks starting a business on a China platform. Any and all companies have risks this is one and they offered them to sell it. This isn't even close to the same as covid

Trump will save it, just like he’ll save every other aspect of the country to fail under Biden’s administration
