TIL about hidden="until-found" Add it to elements that are on the screen but not visible (e.g. on a hidden tab) and the browser will fire a beforematch event. Perfect for Stimulus to listen for and automatically switch tabs!

With ChatGPT Atlas, we aim to push the boundary of what a browser can be — integrating ChatGPT and evolving it into an agent that takes action for you. But even as we build that future, the basics still matter. For most people we talk to, their tab strip is overflowing with too many tabs (mine certainly is!). This week's Atlas release: revamped tab search and a new 'auto organize' your tabs button. Click to remove duplicates, merge windows, or let ChatGPT group your tabs in a way that makes sense. Just hit “update” in the top right to try.

One of the ways to help this (it’s not perfect) is to update the things Twitter thinks you like. It will help to make the for you tab better. You have to update it every couple weeks because it will try and add back the ones that make you mad.

Keeping an eye on the little things with the Rockets offense. No screen until about :14 on the clock but notice Sengun. Tells Sheppard to hold since defense wants to keep it on the side. On the catch waves for Smith to screen for KD. Handoff and KD gets to his spot.

One of my favorite details of Sonner: By default the toast disappears after 4 seconds unless you hover over it. But what if a toast is triggered and the user switches to a different tab? 4 seconds would pass and the toast would never be seen. That’s why there’s a `useIsDocumentHidden` hook that checks if the document (tab) is hidden, and if so, it will pause the timer. This can be done with the "visibilitychange" event listener on the document. A small detail that improves the experience.

Over the weekend I found a stream/browser extension called Scoria. It effectively reads your Scolias scores and zooms in for 180s and doubles, it can also automatically switch scenes when playing and not playing, and has its own scoreboard! Pretty cool stuff

The benefits of switching between horizontal → vertical tabs are underrated. For the Superlogical multiplexer macOS client, both tab styles are great for very different working styles. For me, horizontal tabs are great for more focussed projects or tasks. I'll open a repo, spawn a few tabs with lazygit, a couple agents etc, and live in that for a while. Vertical tabs however, span sessions and even machines - much better for monitoring existing workloads, disparate agent runs and the like. Operator mode. Still quite early wip stuff but already a delight to use.

Wyoming has been on fire for days and it’s the first I’m hearing about it. Nowhere to be found on the news. Just on X.

A cool feature of the Disclosure component is that it uses the hidden=until-found attribute so you can still search the content while it is closed with ctrl+F (currently supported in Chrome). The disclosure will automatically open when content is found inside! 😲

🤯 Mind officially blown: I recorded a screen capture of a task (looking for an apartment on Zillow). Gemini was able to generate Selenium code to replicate that task, and described everything I did step-by-step. It even caught that my threshold was set to $3K, even though I didn't explicitly select it. 🤯🔥 "This code will open a Chrome browser, navigate to Zillow, enter "Cupertino, CA" in the search bar, click on the "For Rent" tab, set the price range to "Up to $3K", set the number of bedrooms to "2+", select the "Apartments/Condos/Co-ops" checkbox, click on the "Apply" button, wait for the results to load, print the results, and close the browser."

Her red hot bikini, leaving everyone breathless and begging for more. Her toned physique and seductive gaze are the perfect combination to set the screen on fire. Those curves, that waist, and those sultry eyes - she's the ultimate temptation.

OK I'm gonna be real with you-- I've been under the impression that screen protectors are all basically the same thing, the only real difference being the applicator tool that comes in the box. But JSAUX has changed my opinion with their new (slightly silly named) Obsidian AR Screen Protector. I've been using it for about a month now after removing my old screen protector and here are my thoughts What it does - Reduces direct reflections quite a bit - Makes colors appear darker/more rich - Protects the screen What it doesn't do - Angled reflections don't seem to be reduced much? - Doesn't make the screen bulletproof lol They also claim it's fingerprint and smudge proof but I haven't really had that issue with any of my screen protectors so 🤷 It's challenging to show just how much nicer this screen protector is but the video does a pretty decent job I think JSAUX's Obsidian AR Screen Protector for Switch 2 isn't currently available on Amazon (and according to them it won't be for.. awhile? Like maybe not until next year?) but you can pre-order it on their website and I begged them for a discount code for y'all you're welcome: USE COUPON CODE 15Nintendeal

The idea behind allowing extra challenges is to correct something that everyone can see on video - online, on the big screen, and on tablets. If the evidence is not visible on the video, the officials will not be able to overturn the original on-ice call.

I used a similar technique recently to reverse engineer the beautiful tabs in OpenAI ‘s Atlas browser. Took a screen recording, had an agent describe the design, the tab metrics, the easing curves etc. Had Codex do one pass and have Claude critique it, and got this highly responsive, pretty well structured macOS component out of it
