@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Greeny solution works if you eliminate divisions and just have conferences. One of the reasons why NFL is so much better than NBA is divisions matter.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Why do we always have to change things because of a few outliers. Divisions are cyclical. The NFC East used to be great and the NFC West had great years and the same with all divisions. The Lions are 8-0 on the road and the Vikings are 7-1 on the road. I think they can handle it

@Espngreeny @tthasselbeck I think the division format is fine for getting in the playoffs but shouldn’t guarantee a home game. It’s absurd to think that Minnesota or Detroit is gonna be a 5 seed simply because they play in the best division and Atlanta/TB and the Rams will have homefield over them.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Winning your division should only guarantee a spot in the playoffs... record, then head to head, should determine homefield.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Brady enjoyed an easy division. Mahomes enjoys and easy division. Allen enjoys an easy division. Lamar and Burrows, like Roethlisberger live in the meat grinder. One year the Browns went 8-8. They were 0-6 vs the North and 8-2 vs the NFL. But that isn’t discussed in this way.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Greenberg is right. Cant have a team that wins 14 not hosting a playoff game. Ridiculous.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny I pray they never change it. Division games are the best and winning your Division should be rewarded.

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Divisions do matter. Winning division gets you in the playoffs. But record should determine home field

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Well, some teams play easier schedules/play in weaker divisions so Matt makes a good point...

@tthasselbeck @Espngreeny Oh...look everyone. Greeny has a bad take! Haven't seen that in hours.
