what are you on. @Timcast was simply making a hypothetical and he said so multiple times. His statement is summarized to, "your location does not negate your right to self-defense when no other crime is committed." This does not count for B&E or trespass as those are laws being broken.

No he isn't. He's simply clarifying that nobody really knows what happened in that tent, and that it's for a court to decide.

Self defense: 1. You’re in imminent danger of serious bodily harm OR You have a reasonable fear for your life. 3. You didn’t have the ability to flee or retreat. 4. You’re not the aggressor. Anthony’s lawyer would need to prove all of these things. Good luck with that 😵‍💫.

I suppose it could boil down to what other things were in the backpack - was the kid was going tent to tent and stealing things, or did he specifically choose only one - the use of a weapon during the commission of a crime, or premeditated murder?

Pulling a knife and killing someone over a seat is not self justifiable self defense. He was not in fear for his life... instead it looked like he was provoking the incident.

This kid was never in a fight or skuffle in high school. He’s a soy. He doesn’t understand the traditional age-old rules of adolescent male behavior. Stabbing your opponent in the heart is against these rules.

Stand your ground only covers the use of deadly force if you have a legitimate fear that your life is in danger. From what I’ve read, it doesn’t look like deadly force was justified.

He has this story wrong. Anthony didn’t bring a weapon and say “stay away from me or I’ll use this.” Anthony hid his weapon, and provoked Metcalf by telling him to “touch me and see what happens.” That sounds like provocation with intent, which would negate a self-defense claim.

Shilling for Israel has made him lose sight of the truth.

Oh, Ian. Remember, Tim's main job is to question all narratives to invoke discussion. No one except the killer know what actually happened. Self Defense is as plausible as anything else. But self defense with a knife is the hardest of cores.

I think you are missing context IMO, after watching his segments @Timcast stance is: -he admitted to stabbing -he claims self defense -he has a right to self defense -he is innocent until proven guilty -it will be hard to prove self defense in this case

I watched the entire clip. He is not "defending" the guys actions as self defense. He was having a conversation about what Texas state law says.
