I’m a football fan looking on and it’s insanity to cut a region and criminal that they’re saying it needs to be one of the best two regions. The whole lot need to be marched out, turned east and frogmarched to England

Let’s organise a protest and get them out, how about the Welsh government gets involved with this instead of planting trees in fucking Uganda

Get rid of the regions. There's no passion there. Bring a Premiership in with Bridgend, Pontypridd, Cardiff, Swansea, Llanelli, Newport etc. Communities will get fully behind it the game will be healthy and thriving again.

Spot on! Time to eradicate the oldy worldy old boys club create focus on modern fit for purpose professional board, focus on development in grass roots development or else there will be no one coming through and lost to other sports.

Well said Jiffy!!! The game in wales is in a perilous state and strong leadership and a clear strategy is needed now more than ever

I agree with you wholeheartedly. We know there are huge financial challenges, but we are sinking under the lack of leadership So many amazing people in Welsh rugby and at the WRU, but leaders letting everyone down Thank you for speaking up

Before cutting Welsh professional rugby from 4 teams to 3, the WRU should publish a fully costed, side by side comparison of both models. Public trust has gone, transparency would go a long way towards addressing the understandable concerns of supporters, clubs and stakeholders.

The great and normally wise Jonathon calls for the status quo. It’s financially melting the Welsh game, the four make huge losses and we aren’t competitive. Women’s rugby also needs a boost to catch up. But the status quo is okay because otherwise people will get upset.

Thank you Jiffy for your intervention here. I firmly believe the person to turn around Welsh Rugby is Jonathan Ford the Ex FAW CEO who turned around Welsh Football. Jiffy can you and one of your media friends do a podcast with Jonathan Ford on what he would do in charge of WRU?

I don’t understand why WRU are so silent, at a time when they should be in the media pretty much daily, pushing why reducing to 3 teams is correct course and instilling the benefits into supporters. All they’ve done is pitt the ospreys and scarlets in a gladiator style deathmatch

We wish you were on the Board Jiff to sort them out! There needs to be a focus back to grass roots fundamentals, then District Development from youngsters through 1st XV, then feeding the main clubs, then those players feed the regional teams to feed strength and depth for Wales!

Getting too much money and perks to voluntarily resign.

The fans will vote with their wallets. When international tickets don’t sell in the next six months they’ll resign on masse.

Jonathan needs to start thinking with his head and not his heart. The status quo in Wales is clearly unaffordable. You can change the Board as often as you like but this does not alter the commercial realities the current board are trying to address.
