True story.. we had a mean goat on the farm.. we never allowed it out of the pasture. If you went walking it would always try to knock the heII out of you. It got out one time and as grandma was walking to her massive boat of a Buick to go to church it snuck up and rammed her hard enough to break her hip.. no one on earth seen that goat ever again ☠️🪦

Slushie hasn’t found her forever home yet, but we still have some really wonderful news to share. Every day, she’s gaining more use of her back legs - standing on her own and even taking a few steps at a time. Little by little, she’s getting stronger, and it’s impossible not to cheer her on. While she is so loved and well cared for here, we truly believe Slushie would thrive even more in a home rather than a kennel. I met Anee Icha at the audition for Castle and castle many years ago. Then we worked on the show where she played the crazy receptionist. While directing her, I realized she had great comedic timing and fantastic improv skill. So I told her, one day I’m going to write a crazy story about a very clumsy girl and you will star in it. Somehow we lost touch and I completely forgot. It didn’t happen till three years later when she ran into me at a supermarket. She reminded me that we still hadn’t made this our movie. Coincidentally I was looking for a story that will make us build an extensive set design and VFX just to show off the skills of my Anthill Studios team. That night, the idea for Casa de Novia came to me. I called up my trusted writer Weaver of stories and showed her clips of Anee and we wrote the film for her. I’m glad Anee is getting all the praises and I want to see her do more films like this. Clumsy girl comedy is a big hit potential and we need more crazy ideas in Nollywood.

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

We expect politicians to lie most of the time. To betray us for their own gain, and to take advantage of us. We have seen and experienced this more than enough times for us to be wary of it. What we do not expect is for the family of a girl fighting for her life to deceive us and, on top of that, to use her to do so. This man, masquerading as a concerned family member and victim, has been caught claiming that he will use Yumn and stage a video "thikolhun beynun vaa gothah," and keep her there needlessly for "a long time." While I support the fight for justice and rights, this movement has been too muddied up by the elements that have infiltrated it. This is no fight for #JusticeForYumn or any other justice, as we can see in this chatlog of Mooch. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted, Mooch. To use her to sensationalise it just to get more cash for you is beyond words. Its no wonder sex offenders like Rashwan and liars like Shiman are organisers. A nice little symbiotic relationship between Mooch and politics.

It’s been a couple of days since our last update on Payton’s recovery from pneumonia and cleft palate surgery. Long story short, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. She’s required oxygen - finally got off of that today - and has started crying finally. Before this surgery, she cried twice in her entire life, so that’s been very difficult for us to see because it means something is wrong and upsetting her. She’s required one of us to be by her 24/7 as she’s needed suctioning CONSTANTLY with all the junk coming up and the drool, along with her frequent puking and bowel movements. The antibiotic is absolutely helping with the pneumonia, but it’s destroying her little digestive system. Please be praying that her stomach starts to not upset her as much and she can give her body a bit of rest. The plus side is that she has started sleeping like a champ at night. Previously, if we could get six straight hours of sleep, we viewed that as a really good night. The past several nights, she’s gotten eight or more straight hours to the point where our night nurses have been slightly concerned. 😂 We seem to be turning a corner though, thankfully. We’re hoping that after taking five steps back with this surgery that we can now begin the road forward to taking 20 steps with speech, eating, etc. that comes with a closed palate. And we’re still finding moments of joy like this in the midst of the toughest two weeks we can ever remember. Thank you to everyone who keeps checking in on us, bringing us meals, and praying for us. We appreciate it more than you know.

URGENT APPEAL This is Njeri Mugure She is 28 years and was born deaf. Her mother locked her away about 10 years ago due to her disability. She sometimes is even chained on the seat and never allowed to go outside. Due to the deplorable conditions, and malnutrition, lack of sun and she often left in her own excrement. Her bones are brittle andis unable to walk unsupported. Her language is now guttural sounds, whereas neighbours say that she used to be vocal.
