Time is running out to form a capable international force with teeth and a mandate to disarm Hamas, protect civilians in Gaza, stabilize the Strip, and allow for the rejuvenation of the coastal enclave. There should be no Turkish or Qatari troops involved in this effort. DW News

Defeating Hamas without dividing Gaza: The partition of the Gaza Strip along the "Yellow Line" of the ceasefire deal risks become a permanent disaster, brought to you by Hamas, Qatar & a fragile peace deal. We cannot accept the formation of two Gazas, for this is not East & West Berlin, nor can it be North & South Korea. The majority of the population are inhumanely concentrated in a tiny piece of "West Gaza" that's controlled by Hamas, living in horrendous conditions that cannot sustain life for years until Hamas decides to agree to leave and exit the scene. What's needed is to: 1- Form a regional and international force that can fight and take on Hamas. 2- Prepare areas in "East Gaza" to receive civilians and move the population out of Hamas's grip. 3- Pressure Qatar and Turkey to get Hamas to expediently disarm, exit the political scene, and allow for the formation of an internationally-sponsored transitional governance apparatus. 4- Provide incentives for remaining members of Hamas to defect. 5- Support Palestinians in Gaza who are seeking a different future, radical change, alternative narratives, and a departure from commonly-regurgitated nationalistic talking points.

As part of the efforts to allow the movement of residents and international organizations to the southern Gaza Strip for their protection, in recent days the transfer of a storage facility containing rare archaeological artifacts, mosaics, and pottery of the Christian community in the Gaza Strip was made possible. This was carried out in coordination with COGAT's Coordination and Liaison Administration (CLA) for Gaza, in cooperation with an international organization. The unique historical artifacts were transferred to a safe location in coordination between officers at the CLA for Gaza and the international community.

⚠️ Hamas has not disarmed yet, has not delivered the bodies of all the deceased Israeli hostages, and is hosted in Cairo to negotiate the future of Gaza! 👉 That is a clear manipulation of the 20-point Peace Plan, not only by Hamas, but also by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, that the U.S. Administration should not allow. 👉 Jordan's King Abdullah's statement that the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza should be a "peacekeeping" rather than a "peace-enforcing" force is also contradictory to what was agreed with U.S. President Trump at the Sharm el-Sheikh Summit two weeks ago and to points 15, 16, 17 of the peace plan which clearly says the mission of the ISF is to establish "control and stability" so the IDF can withdraw from the strip. 👉 The intentional absence of Arab Gulf countries, especially Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, from this conversation should be a matter of concern. 📺 I discussed this👆 and Egypt's involvement in the search for hostage bodies in Gaza today with @laura_i24 on i24NEWS English. "In war, you can't give the enemy a sanctuary." Continue to flood Gaza with aid. Call for the evacuations (civilians should heed those calls). Continue to distinguish between Hamas combatants and civilians. Areas out of concern for the hostages and civilians. And of course, this is not without risk to the hostages.
