A horrible irrelevant bigot . Impossible for him to face up to the huge success the Fleadh is continuing to be . His bitterness is there for all to see . Radio Ron,s interview is a sad indictment on him and the sectarian TUV

The hypocrisy from the TUV is staggering. If performing on Royal Avenue is unacceptable because UDR men were murdered there, where has the TUV been when loyalist bands parade through or past areas where Catholics were murdered by loyalist paramilitaries? Where is the outrage at UVF/UDA flags, banners commemorating loyalist gunmen and bands associated with dead paramilitaries during the marching season? Apparently historical sensitivity applies only in one direction. And while Ron McDowell is demanding everyone else account for associations with paramilitarism, perhaps the TUV could provide some historical clarification of its own: exactly when did Jim Allister leave Ulster Resistance, the organisation whose launch he attended in 1986 alongside other senior unionist politicians? If the TUV wants a universal rule that nobody connected with terrorism should be commemorated at cultural events, fine. Apply it universally — republican AND loyalist. Otherwise this isn’t a principled stand against glorifying terrorism. It’s selective outrage. And finishing a statement about “cross-community” relations by warning that opposition next year might become “a little more disruptive” is quite a revealing choice of words.

This is embarrassing for unionism. Belfast is alive with music and song. People from all sides have joy in their hearts and all you bring to the table is bitterness and hollow theatrics. You have zero to offer young people from loyalist communities only division and hatred.

The success of #Fleadh is upsetting you bigots. Not one GB person has a bad word to say about it. Your whining is another example of how completely different you are to actual British people.
