@GopherHole A public statement would be a self-imposed condition (and completely unnecessary since he acknowledged paying Gangelhoff and returned part of his buyout). There’s no NCAA restriction which prevents the U from hanging the banner. 1/

@GopherHole I can't disagree with you on Gangelhoff. But she did have the courage to come forward, which says more about her than anything. Perhaps the U is trying to preserve some form of academic integrity by not putting the banner up. If that's the case, the U should be commended.
