this is perfect. fuck it feels good to hear scrim in this way, this many years after the first solo drop, this far into recovery, this far into g59, $b, and grey day success and all thats come with it. can hear already how the culmination of ALL of it leading up to this is creating some special fucking art god damn. and as someone in recovery almost within the same month as you (april 4, 2019 is my sobriety date), inspired by you, cried my eyes out with you during your GDAY speech in 2022 and 2023, and maintaining being motivated by you since i've been listening since 16', two od's and one small stroke before recovery when i was in my 8 years of hell, it just makes this record and this project feel and sound so much more powerful and special to me and for us all but also for me on the deepest of levels where all my pain and scars reside and are bit by bit being replaced with love, hope and i'd call that healing. long ass tweet i know but damnit. THANK YOU SCRIM. fucking thank you. i'm a grown ass man sure but it don't change me seeing you as a brother to an extent on the premise of recovery and relating to your work/story so im going to voice that you mean something to me and that meaning has made my life more special. you are a part of it and i have so many other pieces & parts in my life that of course mean more because they take priority naturally but they are all equally important components end of day. from my woman to my daughter, and loved ones. but i'm paying respect where due. there should be no age boundaries the way people do to society when expressing gratitude just cause a grown man is grateful for another. love
