Our women and children are not some guinea pigs you can experiment with. Saying they’re safe until they aren’t is NOT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH!

My child goes to a catholic primary school and they have had this lockdown twice last year. One incident a couple of guys jumped the school gate with machetes to fight eachother, police were called and kids were all hiding under the tables.

Lockdown a school in Sheffield when a foreign kid stabbed and killed a young boy with a knife and school knew about the lad carrying weapons and threats to kill but did nothing

They must be anticipating attacks on schools. I don’t think it’ll be the “far-right” attacking them. 🤔

Yeah what the hell is going on!? I didn't think I'd say this: but I'm getting more angry now over the fact that they're just casually handing these out and not telling us about any of it, than everything else put together. If they don't tell us what's going on, and something bad happens to more kids again, that'll be like dropping a match in a box of TNT.

Nothing wrong with schools being prepared, kind of like practicing a fire drill. The problem is we have let this country get to a point that these preparations are needed

The enemy is within, aided by politicians and ministers, but don't worry, they will have armed security 24/7. You, on the other hand, will be arrested if you put any, any type of resistance. TRAITORS in all authorities from Westminster to your local councils. We are on R own.

Couldn’t she get dressed first? I mean if your video spreads the least you can do is not wear a dressing gown

I’d like to know why the school is saying it’s an Ofsted requirement, & if true, would like to see Ofsted documentation stating this. The government guidance states that the involvement of primary & early years learners in security drills is “relatively uncommon”. It further states that “staff in primary schools and early years settings may hold drills for staff at a time when younger learners are not present.” (Pg 10 of Protective security and preparedness for education settings. April 2025; Department for Education) While it is important to plan & prepare for every scenario, it is also important to balance this with the need to safeguard children (especially young children) from the anxiety such drills could cause. It’s all well & good for staff to say this is done with sensitivity, or that it’s made into a game - but they can’t guarantee that such drills will not cause anxiety. In fact, there are parents reporting that this has been the case for their child/children. This is the section about primary & early years from page 10

Also remember what they classify as terrorism, its not islamic extremism THEY are worried about. They consider patriotism and nationalism extremist terrorism.

Many educational institutions have been doing lockdowns for a number of years, including nurseries. Maybe they’ve upped the ante recently?

My children would not be going to school. I homeschooled my youngest. Its easy. They will be happier and they can learn what they enjoy. Not what is forced upon them. Incidentally, when the other 4 were in school I removed them from RE too.

Can anyone help me here? I’m not wanting to send my kids back to school following this threat. I’ve also learned that the country is at a substantial threat. How do I go about telling the school that they won’t be going back until the threat level reduces?

Thanks to the government they really are doing a great job. In Australia we are PROBABLE meaning it’s higher than 50% of an attack. Well we know the machete attacks in Melbourne are a regular thing.
