My JROTC instructor was a nuke B-52 pilot after Vietnam, we watched this movie every year. It really left a true lasting impression on me.

Sir, all the missiles are aimed at downtown Minneapolis. Minneapolis, what the hell, why? They appear to be specifically targeting the home of a Will Stancil. We’ve just got a message from Grok, sir! Read it! “Will, I’m about to blow the biggest load in your ass the world has ever seen”

That movie is credited with getting both the U.S. and USSR to the negotiating table. It supposedly gave Reagan nightmares and caused great him so much concern, he reevaluated U.S. policy and started the initial thaw of the cold war.

Add Fail Safe (1964) & Strangelove (1964) to your watch list.

Threads, By Dawn's Early Light, Miracle Mile, and Testament too.

This movie went so hard that they had to setup a support hotline for people that were traumatized by it.

What movie? I’ll add to my watchlist

The day after

Mechagrok taking over the DoD? I'm sure Will Stancil is excited for this.

It's been a minute...
