I really wanna draw loaf Spyro now...

How do you get the lineart to blend in so well? I thought that most artists did that by simply using really thin lines, but when I tried that, they still stand out so much that my art still looks cartoonish

In this one I've actually merged everything in one single layer after coloring and adding shading to the sketch This way I could get the colors by using colorpicker and then drew over it with a hard or soft rounded brush, this way my lines got very hidden and more refined x3

Also, after making the sketch, I copied and pasted its layer, painted the top layer pink (alpha locked) and set it to Linear Burn mode, this makes the sketch blend better with the character's colors x3 Before / After

Oh and I make the pink sketch layer blurred too after that x3

I personally loved this method of adding colors and shading to the sketch and then merging it all in one single layer to clean it, super worth it!
