Just curious how do you transfer from greyscale shading to color? Every time i try to move to color it always comes out looking darker or muddy colored.

I dont use greyscale anymore but what i would do is make a layer above the greyscale and turn it into overlay and use that to colour it, and then i would use adjustment layers (like curves or colour balance) to adjust it
