Another Hailuo AI (MiniMax) H3 test, this time looking at audio reference and performance (A little NSFW language on end of this one!). I recorded the dialogue as an audio track and fed that in as a reference with a image reference of the man. In the text prompts I gave some direction to the actor (Like the look to camera at the end). I think the model did a brilliant job of matching the performance to the words and emotion that were in the audio ref. Unlike Seedance 2.0 I didn't have to feed in black video or write the words in the prompt to get the words correct. It seemed to use the exact audio from the reference I provided, which is what you want when using voice actors. Things are getting real... fast

'No Self Control', released in May 1980 was the second single from 'PG3'. This performance is from Top of the Pops. "Steve Reich had done this wonderful record called ‘Music for Eighteen Musicians’, which involved marimbas and I think, of all the ‘systems’ composers, his work had a lot of textures and colours and grooves to them that I really responded to. So I tried to involve elements of that in the work. I also worked with a wonderful percussionist Morris Pert and ‘No Self Control’ would be one track, which integrated some of those things and a band sound as well."

The gun/optic doesn't really matter as long as your underlying skills are there. The stock Ruger RXM (3,000 rounds) with a crappy EPS clone performs as good or slightly better than my shadow 2 (35,000 rounds) in a short course. I would give the edge in time to the RXM and the edge in hits to the Shadow. I subjectively feel more confident in the shadow 2 and that I have to put less input into the gun to get it to do what I want. If we were to push the targets back to 25-40 yards, I imagine the hits would be better with the Shadow 2 with a slight edge in time as well.

I put one of my characters in Unreal, and now I'm slowly adding more and more animation. There's still a lot of gaps to be filled, but overall I'm surprised how well this rig works in game. I started adding behaviors like looking at the cubes when he's near, and sticking to the wall / jumping off the wall. Next I want him to skitter around on the wall like a bug. He also looks really stressed out when he's running. #UnrealEngine5 #animation

I have to give all the credit to the fans for this because when they edit clips of me at events, or put them together to make me look beautiful and cool, you know, I feel like one day, the person who's in the phone won't be in this world anymore. She'll have to leave someday. So, I'd better keep this smile, and look at this smile as much as I can, “because there really is only one of me.” After that, I just wanted to go out and meet people, and see myself being edited by my fans more often, things like that.
