Yep. It's lasso fill to start and I put down lines with a custom oval brush

@Aeonsfeather The subtool window for the lasso fill should have an opacity slider. You may have to change the hotkeys for figure tools so the opacity will correspond with numbers. I'll check in with screenshots in a bit.

@Aeonsfeather Ok I had to check for myself, the figure tool opacity for things like line/lasso/rect/polyline is treated the same as brushes, just make sure you got these hotkeys and you should be set.

Lasso fill is the way. I use it like the coil method to build shapes.

Both actually. I like to start with lasso fill or a line tool, some days I go straight to a custom brush tool and then lasso fill as I go.

Can you do timelapses after you finish?? Does it retroactively record everything?

You have to enable it in csp before you start in the file tab so it records from the very start, and you gotta save it in clip format to save your progress as you go.

I just enable that by default because I had days I forgot to record timelapses and just ended up saving images step by step instead lolololllll

Lifedrawing. And not having brush sensitivity on my phone. I been using lasso fill on infinite painter since at least 2012.

how do you do the overlay effect for shadows? mine always looked dirty when I tried to apply them (

Sometimes it isn't overlay. Sometimes it's multiply or hard light. You can always use a brighter saturated colour and adjust from there. One guy took his flats and copied it above his shadows and set that to colour (unsure) and continued to paint then.
