There are three deep sea ports in south south , port harcourt onne port, Calabar port and Worri port. There is only one port in south west as of now until the Ogun deep sea port which will make it two. Let’s assume that the government decides to build a sea port in south east, where will it be ? Today, you see the Ogun State governor signing a $7 billion MOU, but it didn’t happen by magic. A governor put in the hard work, travelled, pursued investors, looked for opportunities, and the result is this MOU. The thing is, while serious and dedicated governors are running around looking for FDI, investments, and opportunities for their people, other governors are sitting comfortably in their government houses, seemingly unbothered. Yet, their people won’t ask questions or demand results from them. Instead, they attack and demand accountability from governors who are actually putting in the work. If other states or regions want ports, industrial projects, or major investments, they should ask their own governors to step up. Tell them to come up with a plan, do the groundwork, pursue investors, build relationships, and actively seek opportunities for their people. Attacking other people simply because they put in the work is a waste of time, and, more importantly, a waste of opportunities. When serious and dedicated governors are working to attract investments and create opportunities, the focus should be on learning from what they are doing, not attacking them for their success. FG handouts and emotional blackmail played out a long time ago.

Ogun state deep seaport is 100% Ogun state money. Ibos will forever be refugees in Yorubaland. Go and build your own region and stop crying about development in Yorubaland. Your governors are lazy parasites like your people always escaping ibo land. Go and build your own.

Ogun is pushing a Deep Sea Port while the South-West is working towards regional rail connectivity. This is how development should work - states and regional leaders must step up, compete, cooperate and build complementary infrastructure. Nigeria cannot depend on Abuja for everything. Nigeria must move forward.

They stop Obaseki from creating deep sea ports in Benin City Edo state (Gelegele) river now they are creating another one in Ogun state. I pity Nigeria
