The Only Factor Behind Atiku’s Choice of Amaechi as Running Mate is Financial — Wike It will be very difficult for Atiku to become president. The only reason for picking Amaechi as running mate may be financial, because if it is on the basis of delivering votes, that idea is dead on arrival. Rotimi Amaechi has not won any election since 2011, when I was DG of his campaign. He was DG of Buhari’s campaign in 2015, and Buhari did not get 25% in Rivers State. Again in 2019, as a minister, the result was the same. There is no state in the South-South that Amaechi controls. Nyesom Wike, FCT Minister

The man knows his followers are stupid. They don’t know anything about how the economy is run asides from the cost of rice and garri. So all he needs to do is sprinkle one of the few economic words they understand…“corruption”…and every other thing he says in between doesn’t matter. Before 2023 Election: Subsidy will go IMMEDIATELY After 2023 Election: I would have removed subsidy gradually. After Atiku’s Declaration: I will remove the corruption in subsidy before I know if there’s subsidy. Same way he jumps from party to party at the slightest inconvenience.

Amaechi defined a brother as one who identifies with us in terms of problems. He said brotherhood is not blood relation. So, we are going to copy that definition for the 2027 presidential election.
