What many people don’t understand is—there are many indirect tax people will pay because of this law, in a country where there is no price control. For instance if a landlord is being taxed on the rent he receives from the his tenants, knowing Nigerians landlord, they will…

What's unsaid is: The average complacent f0ols who will be happy they are earning below 800k and "free" from tax, should understand that business owners earning in Millions whose tax % increases as they go will have to shift the tax burden to the consumers who can't live without their products. You are already crying about the price of bread 🍞 based on inflation abi? The rich can break their money into small small fractions to ease/evade tax, how far you?

This is essentially an incomplete information. You should have compared the law to what we used to have instead of just spitting out the interpretation you have just done. You make it looks like Nigeria has just had its first tax law.

In as much as you have raised more concerns about the welfare of the taxpayer which are valid, you could have at the same time inform all viewers that you pay less in tax as compared to the previous tax law.

Your analysis is very, very wrong! Where is the relief? The rent relief? The pension relief? The premium relief? Etc. Your 1m analysis is zero PIT

There’s someone about trying to dress up an agenda laced narrative as an unbiased opinion, you could have addressed the tax breakdown and leave the other issues to the viewers to decide but that was not your intention, you’re looking to paint the usual narative, deceit is ur game

This video is skewed, 1. How come u didn’t include the rent relief in the 1.2m pay? 2. Why don’t u talk about the small businesses that won’t be taxed? Why only talk about the PAYE? 3. Why don’t u also tell businesses that it’s their profit that will be taxed n not revenue?
