Help me understand. I grew up in N Yorks national park. They are very restrictive areas. Owned by a plethora of people. I’m well informed on regenerative agriculture. What’s your myth to be busted? What would I get from reading the book?

Jimmy Soni, best-selling author of The Founders, describes prepping for his writing sessions by studying what he calls "model books": "One of the best pieces of advice I got was to take a book that's like the plaster cast for your idea, and study it obsessively. For my book The Founders, it was The Everything Store by Brad Stone. I read that book over 20 times. I'll read the model book dozens of times if need be. I'm taking notes, dissecting things, seeing how he made certain sections work, why this sentence is longer than that one, etc. I've read The Almanack of Naval Ravikant probably nine times, all the way through. It teaches me why that book worked as well as it did."

People who started playing games after the PlayStation era probably know the company Konami mainly through titles like Winning Eleven, Metal Gear, and Silent Hill. But Konami was actually a company that created a huge variety of games, from the arcade era of the 1980s all the way through the 16-bit console generation. Their work on 8-bit consoles was especially impressive. Konami did an excellent job of adapting many arcade classics to fit the limited hardware of 8-bit systems. Super Contra is a good example of that. Back then, there was even a saying that you could buy a game just by seeing the Konami logo and you wouldn’t be disappointed. 🎮
