😳 Tiny bit excited passing through Exeter train station on our way back home… Did you know that National Parks in Britain aren’t actually owned by the nation? 🤯 For more myth-busting, read my new book The Lie of the Land 📚

Just finished reading my copy: comes highly recommended. Particularly concerning about the soil erosion and carbon emissions in my native Fenland.

Thanks Robert! Yes the Fens are a real quandary - an exploding carbon bomb, their fertility leaving away… are you involved in any groups in the area who are campaigning on this? Or who could? All best

Help me understand. I grew up in N Yorks national park. They are very restrictive areas. Owned by a plethora of people. I’m well informed on regenerative agriculture. What’s your myth to be busted? What would I get from reading the book?

I was given a copy for my birthday yesterday and am very much looking forward to getting stuck in!

Enjoy Nick - and happy belated birthday!

I'll order it from our local library, so more people will see it!

🤣🤣🤣

So true, Guy - NPs in the UK are paper tigers, how I envy the genuinely publicly-owned parks of the US etc.

I am reading this book now, I can thoroughly recommend it!

Thanks Rachel! 😃

Congrats, Guy - I'm really looking forward to reading this

Thanks Joni, hope you find it interesting!

Riveting !

I look forward to reading that

So What? After all it’s just a title , like area of outstanding natural beauty or SSSI

Once again displaying the outstanding advice you must be giving @WestcountryRT! Forget the fact that all of those designations have legal underpinning, institutions & a long history, whose founders had ambitions for them that haven’t been met… they’re just titles to you

Great share thanks for the tip, will def check out your book

Why would National Parks be owned by the nation? What a ridiculous question.

Britain owns very little after greedy MPs wrecked the economy for themselves.

It's Exeter railway station 😉

discovered this fact at weekend. Don't understand

Yes I did know that. I also knew about temperate rainforests when I was 8. Its not just you.

Congrats, but what have you done with that knowledge?

Not sure what you mean by ‘train station’ here. Are you in the right country?

Whatever next 😳

“Did you know life is in the sperm? When you read “seed” in scripture it actually means “sperma”. Did you know Luke 3 says that Adam was the son of God but Adam’s lineage never mentions Cain? Jews trace lineage through their mothers—because they always do opposite to God’s will.”
