@PlayApex Or just swap weapons before popping the heal. If you can pull this off fast enough, it can help in a pinch. But you're better off swapping before healing, in my opinion.

I think Black Flag Resynced's ability slot system is completely inferior to a classic weapon wheel. With a weapon wheel, you can swap your quick slot items instantly, it looks clean on the HUD and it doesn't pull you out of the game world into the inventory menu just to reassign gear. Tbh this isn't just a BFR issue since several AC games over the past 8 years have suffered from it. I really hope Ubisoft adds an options to let players choose between a weapon wheel or ability slots and let us toggle between the compass and a traditional mini map.
