We had school closed for an escaped inmate when I was a sophomore in high school so we did what kids do and went to smoke weed in a parking lot. Unfortunately my tinted out Suburban “looked suspicious given the events of the day” and I got busted by the po po. What a fun day 😂

I was a senior at Bishop Rosecrans the year this happened! Once football practice and school got cancelled we drove around looking for some wild cats and baboons! Where did he go to high school?? A few of my buddies got interviewed 😂🐒

My school was close enough they made all parents pick us up from the school the day it went down. Couldn’t get on the bus. Some of us stayed until 6pm when our parents got off work. Didn’t go to back for 3 days. What a wild week that was.

My great step uncle was actually a cop in the area. He got mauled by the bear, it was not a fun day for all police..

Also grew up in Zanesville. My dad met terry Thompson a few times and saw the animals, said terry was weird and the whole place smelled
