Wait, another level since the 2023 MVP, or 2024 ridiculous 41 TD 4 INT season? Gus is dropping 2022 sound bites lol. He’s going to get rolled

Kurt Warner has been very outspoken about being a Brock Purdy believer, and wishes everyone else would put some respect on his name 💯 "I think Brock makes so many impressive throws on a week-to-week basis in that offense. Throws that very few guys can make. The way that he layers the football, his accuracy, his ability to anticipate, I'm a huge fan."

Asked Joe Mazzulla what has allowed Baylor Scheierman to be effective even when playing in small stints: “He works really hard, so he's always prepared. His confidence never waivers — whether he plays well or whether he makes a mistake, his confidence in his ability to impact winning is always there, and that helps a lot. And he can make an impact regardless of how many minutes he plays. So it's really just his preparation, his mindset, his ability to impact possessions, which is important for our team, and he can do all three under kind of any circumstance.”

Saints DC Brandon Staley on Lamar Jackson: "This guy's one of the top throwers at the position. He's just so spectacular doing the other stuff, that some people minimize his ability to beat you from the pocket. He's got a very strong arm. He's got a very quick release, so he doesn't need a lot of room in the pocket. He can make tight-window throws because his release is so fast. He can drive the ball to all parts of the field. ... He's one of the top players in the history of the game, and that's just a fact." via New Orleans Saints

[...] Then the first win against him, which seemed surreal to me. [..] I think we can be very very happy that he's still here giving his 100%, that he's trying to win his 25th slam... It's really beautiful to have him."

"Physically, I've seen him do it, so there has to be a mental aspect that's driving at him. You could see the emotion on his face. Right now, he's letting the outside forces affect his ability. His ability to handle that failure right now doesn't seem to be very good. That would be more of why Shedeur maybe has pushed himself equal or ahead..." ➡️ Lance Reisland (Coach Riz) w/ Anthony Alandt on the #Browns QB decision with Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders
