This movey had great vibes but God damn did the end get retarded. They kill one alien and now the global threat is over? Lol the alien is just gonna stand there holding the little girl hostage? Lol alien technology but they invade random farm houses on foot and in the nude? Not a single alien weapon? Nothing made sense and the ending was fumbled, not sure what went so wrong.

This movie was about demons. The fight in Gibsons character to leave his beliefs behind after his wife’s death. The daughter and son are the things keeping is faith. The little girl blessed the water, which is why they burn after touching holy water.

OHH WHAT Cuz now I’m getting ideas. Like what if, the data centers were water treatment facilities so the aliens could purify the water to get the stuff they’re allergic to out of it, or at least enough to get a foot hold. Or purify enough to use while here and needed. Like they can’t use our water so they build the centers to create water they can use. Alien intelligence. AI…HMM… Idk their goal ofc, but it’s likely not centered around us. Like are we going to Mars to aid their civilization? The change of the music in that seen was epic. After the entire movie with that creepy 3 note motif, it all of a sudden resolves in the payoff motif. Brilliant writing.
