We are all equal under the law. One law for all. That principle must stand. Why, then, is Britain the "Sharia capital" of the West? We have more Sharia councils than anyone else and British Muslims help set up Sharia councils in other Western countries. 60%-80% of Muslim marriages in the UK are Sharia only, with no civil registration (thus denying "wives" protection from English courts). This is the highest in the Western world. Some morons will reply: "Sharia is voluntary and has no legal recognition or force in the UK". In these neighborhoods, citizens are told they cannot film in public because of Sharia law, despite it being completely legal under UK law. When confronted, instead of respecting the law of the country that welcomed them, they respond with hostility, shouting, and threats. The people who fled persecution in their own lands are now bringing the same persecution to Britain. They claim to seek safety, but refuse to respect the values of the free society that gave it to them. How long will the UK allow this hypocrisy to grow?

They enjoy full freedoms with no restrictions. In Afghanistan, women are banned from education and women are removed from society, while the Taliban’s own daughters study freely abroad. In Iran, women are imprisoned or even killed over hijab, but for the regime all is fine and not forbidden. These two examples from two countries show that both regimes use Islam as a tool of control. both are lie and they just fight for power not for Islam and not for rights or people. Jews follow Halacha at home and obey the Constitution. Christians follow Canon law in church and obey the Criminal Code. BUT Muslims are commanded to replace the Constitution with Sharia. That’s not “extremism.” That’s the baseline. This isn’t a religion. It’s a totalitarian political-military-legal system wearing a religious costume - exactly like communism, except it promises eternal hellfire if you don’t submit. Every mosque, every “community center,” every inch of space we surrender to Islam in the West is space surrendered to Sharia. There is no “moderate” version that stays forever in the private sphere. The doctrine forbids it. I actually agree with this imam. The sharia penal code, the hudud, is barely 1% of Islamic sharia, and it isn’t even enforced in most Islamic countries. So the fear that Muslims are coming to impose amputations and stonings on America is overblown. But here is what the imam won’t tell you. Sharia is not mainly about the penal code, and the threat it poses to the West was never primarily violence or terrorism. The real danger is the erasure of individual liberty and religious freedom in any region that becomes heavily Muslim, because sharia governs the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims, and it enforces blasphemy norms either by law, as in Islamic states, or by fear and self-censorship everywhere else. By that measure, every single Islamic country on earth applies sharia. Not one of them permits full freedom of speech. Not one of them grants non-Muslims the same rights as Muslims. The penal code is the part they’ll debate with you. The erasure of your freedoms is the part they won’t.
