They would typically send 5-10 topics and have you pick 3 you would be capable of commenting on. I’d constantly get bumped from my 3 choices and would be forced to talk about some dumb Hollywood story. The newsroom is fast moving and the show starts getting put together around 10am, they have a large roster of people ready via zoom and as the day goes on a few of those people drop out, they become desperate to have their Zoom people ready for those segments, that’s all this was.
