This is absolutely true word for word. I have been saying Xabi conceded 14 goals with Leverkusen in his first 5 games & then only 3 in the next 5 games which followed

Yup. Also, remember how Conte started with us his first season?

Yeah so true plus Xabi is the ONLY competent manager & proven winner that this ownership has got, we need to give him as much time as he needs. No hire sack hire stuff

That’s what I am trying to communicate, we literally played a game with more than 5 players injured , the mentality is crazy

The problem with this fanbase we follow rival fans instead of looking at the issues Caicado and palestra are key part of his team and not available so far …most teams struggle at the G tech anyways

People don’t understand now that culture + connection has such a massive impact, how can we build culture if we constantly get rid of managers? It worked all those years ago, but in this era, culture is the number one thing. Look at the Seattle Seahawks, we went from 4 wins to Super Bowl champions because Mike MacDonald and co built this new culture, this new team where everyone loves eachother and all have a super close connection with eachother

This loss was solely on Xabi Alonso. That guy is clueless. During the game, he reminded me of Rosenior last season on the touchline. Help me understand: what is Alonso’s style of play? Why does he only make substitutions around the 70th minute? Why does Estevão only come on for 3–4 minutes?

The one time we finally get a proper manager and fans can't even process for their plastic minds to be patient. They literally expected us to win a treble in July 2nd. Fanbase sickens me. They are so much part of the problem with the constant turn over in managers.

Absolutely right.......we need to give him time and players....this team is full of good players but we need "one of the best" in each position coupled with good players for rotation

The Chelsea fanbase, aside from the Manchester United, are some of the most entitled and deluded fanbase out there. Only 5 games into the season and some are spewing absolute rubbish about Xabi. This is why I no longer waste my time scrolling through X after games.

I mean, Xabi needs to do his work but that won’t come easy. He needs time.. Whoever wants him out after game 5, need to take a chill pill.

For me the issue is not the coach or formation,,its lack of commitment from players and lack of fighting winner mentality,,we have so many logs that we need do discard,,,we cant sack the coach because of players problem,,,how many are we gonna sack before we realize our problem.

I’m tired of the delusional Chelsea fans who expect xabi to instantly become arteta after a 5 games . We must be patient with him just as arsenal was with arteta it took 4-5 seasons Chelsea fans could never! Spoilt brats

Most fans just want the end product, take a look at Arsenal players, performance aside but you can see their Mentality is crazy now, they now feel entitled to any three points because time has been spent to drill their culture to the top. The culture at Chelsea is poor currently.

Same with any manager. The problems come from the owners, directors, the squad and the politics (Kinetic, Shields, Winstanley, agents, the “shop window” as it’s sell to buy etc..). Xabi himself has been piss poor so far, but that only puts him on par with the rest.

This ownership have absolutely no intention of ever competing for the PL or UCL, doesn’t matter who’s in charge. They have successful brainwashed and gaslit Chelsea fans all over into lowering and accepting these “standards”.

Spot on. Any Chelsea fan calling for Xabi’s head cannot be taken seriously. It’s absurd. Arteta went 8th, 8th, 5th, 2nd, 2nd, 2nd, 1st. Just calm down everyone

Alex thank you for speaking sense. People need to remember once upon time, Arteta was so bad when he was there, almost got sacked a few times and now look - people need to realise that we need some stability with these group of players.

They forgot pep Guardiola went trophyless in his first season. I hope the board don’t listen to delusional Chelsea fans. And give him more time and good squad to work with.

It is just toooooooo early to turn on him. He can't do his job on the pitch after he's done it off pitch. He needs that time to fix things even though it won't be easy on the fans, but that's exactly what we need. Not the constant changing of coaches!
