We would have been able to provide Starlink terminals and rural broadband and they revoked the award. To date out of that $42 billion allocation the amount of people who have received internet has been has been zero. There was also a nationwide initiative for superchargers -- they made like 10. There are so many examples of wastes of money. The money goes to bureaucrats and consultants and nothing gets done. The opportunity to reduce government waste is easy, because there's so much of it."

NEWS: SpaceX requested on Friday that the FCC make “several small but meaningful updates” to its 2nd-generation Starlink network. “Together, this modification and its companion amendment will enable the Gen2 system to deliver gigabit-speed, truly low-latency broadband and ubiquitous mobile connectivity to all Americans and the billions of people globally who still lack access to adequate broadband.” The request includes lowering the altitude of three Starlink satellite shells by 45 and 60 km. NEWS: SpaceX engineer Mike Coryell, who has been with the company for 10 years, has spent the past week in North Carolina. He says they have already deployed over 1,000 Starlink kits in the valley, with each deployment enabling 10x more people to communicate. So far, they've received over 8,500 requests for Starlink just from the region he’s working in. "We're going to be here as long as we can to get these deployed as fast as humanly possible." Starlink is saving lives.
