Nothing meaningful in life is handed to you without effort. It keeps the lazy out. There are millions of people with the same goal as you. The only thing that separates you? Not talent. Not luck. It’s relentless, boring, consistent effort.

Hard work + hard things = you're unstoppable

Hard work is the discipline. Strategy is the leverage. Without both, movement remains noise.

You have to put in the struggle, don't be so focused on the end point but be focused on the actions.

@RobertGreene Ericsson's groundbreaking research (1993) showed 'deliberate practice' - not just time spent - drives expertise. The brain physically rewires through focused effort, forming new neural pathways. Success follows biological principles of adaptation.

That is great !

Why can’t we teach that fact in our schools instead of the mountains of useless nonsense we have to memorise?

It requires a lot of hard work and a complete total violation of any moral standards. Because the competition is so predatory and so stiff that there's no possible way that you could be a decent human being and ever be successful in today's world, especially here in this country. The bad guys always win.

Many won’t have the patience to master anything these days. Social media has them hooked on a constant drip of dopamine. Their brains are melting. They want pleasure now. To do work and have no return for years? Not many want that. And that’s exactly why you should master something. Master yourself if nothing else
