Catching that ring mid-air was one of the best displays of Spider-Man's reflexes on screen. Tobey's spider-sense and precision were unreal, but saving Gwen was a completely different situation. Both versions had incredible feats, yet that ring catch remains iconic.

catching a tiny lightweight ring can’t really be compared to stopping someone falling at high speed from that height. The physics and situation are just completely different.

I mean to be fair, Tobey's Spiderman was more veteraned at this point of the trilogy, whereas Andrew's was just fresh out of high school and still learning, and it was evident throughout TASM2.
