Together with AFRIpads, Agora Discourse, and the Jinja Network for Young Women Living with HIV, yesterday we delivered the reusable sanitary pads you contributed to. We donated them to school girls and vulnerable young women in Busoga. The schools included Busedde S. S. and Namaganga P. S. It was such an uplifting moment seeing the joy on their faces. The need is high. We were told that some have been using leaves! At Busedde S. S. students were few because they had broken off for holidays, but we left behind 400 packs of pads to be distributed to the girls when they return to school. Thanks so much for touching their lives with your generosity. It means a lot. NB: Pictures taken and shared with permission

My own experiences inspired me to create The Sultana Haven Foundation, a place where people can find support just as I once needed it. Today, I’m proud to introduce the PAD IT CAMPAIGN. This initiative exists to make sure no young girl misses school because she can’t afford menstrual pads. Our goal is to provide sanitary pads to 5,000 households across the 21 local government areas in Adamawa and help every girl show up with dignity and confidence #SultanaFarida #SHF

When Françoise Niyigena was awarded by Imbuto Foundation Foundation in 2012 after ranking second nationwide, it became a turning point for her entire family. Years later, she still speaks with gratitude about that moment and the opportunities it opened for her. I distributed 50 school supply kits to students at Al-Khayam School in Gaza, out of 120 students. Seventy children are still waiting for their turn waiting for nothing more than a pen and a notebook, just to feel that they are still students, and that their dreams still exist. I would be truly happy if we could complete the distribution to the remaining children those who have lost everything in their lives: their homes, their sense of safety, their childhood, and have nothing left but clinging to education as their last hope. Your donation and your sharing are not just acts of help; they are an attempt to save the future of children who have nothing left but this small hope🙏
