@Microsoft AI is meaningless without desktops. People have had it with MS’s back door way of forcing us to give it revenue by mandating new hardware purchases. New hardware means new Windows revenue from HW vendors. Thus, there is a Linux surge going on! Dell, Lenovo, Asus, etc.

Microsoft is crap, Teams is crap, and MS Office 365 is crap. They're slow to access, and I have to use two steps dozens of times just to get into the crappy application I need.

Interesting move. This reminds me of how Azure's early bet on OpenAI gave them a huge architectural lead. If they're now extending that to full-stack "physical AI" tooling, it could become the default platform for robotics and edge AI dev, much like AWS did for web apps.
