He would tell us not to panic, and to stand together and oppose those who are trying to take down our great country. Boy, do I miss him, and cherish the few minutes I spoke to him in 2005. My blog is dedicated to his memory, and I will post about this anniversary today.

Rush always said, when liberals are out of power they are funny but when they are in power they are dangerous.. As usual he was so very right, when the left stole the 2020 election they crossed the rubicon and there was no turning back, they will do and say anything to keep power, I think he would be telling us to stand together and fight for our very freedom…

As a LEO, this man accompanied me through hundreds of hours in a patrol car, sitting in the middle of the desert in places so remote they seem forgotten, while I patrolled inner city streets, and through more midnight shifts than I’ll ever be able to count. What a colossal legend.

I started listening to Rush in Sacramento on KFBK in 1986 before he was syndicated. He was on from 9AM to noon Sacramento time. Then he went to NYC, was syndicated and it was then 9AM TO 11AM, still on KFBK. But it wasn’t long before they took the syndicated program to 3 hours also, so nothing changed for us in Sacramento except for that short time that he went to two hours. He even kept on making fun of Rio Linda even when he went national. “She became pregnant- (for those of you in Rio Linda, she was knocked up)…” He used to go on local TV and “debate” local liberals and he broke them into pieces simply by being realistic. The Mayor of Realville. When he died I wept for the loss I had. He was a friend even though I’d never met him. He was good to know.

During his stay in India, he composed this signature tune for All India Radio, Bombay. the tune used to be played on AIR at 5.55am every morning for 5 minutes, as the radio program would start at 6 o' clock. For many many years, we woke up with this tune. *Purely nostalgic!*

He played it every year on the show as a tribute to Rush and as a reminder that real gratitude comes from God and a knowledge that even when facing unthinkable loss and hardship, God is still all good, all loving, all knowing, and all powerful. We faced a lot of loss this year. Unthinkable loss. But God is still on the throne. He’s still all good, all loving, all knowing, and all powerful. “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” Philippians 1:20 Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Rush thanked his audience for their years of support as he became emotional. “You have no idea what you all have meant to me and my family. The day is gonna come where I'm not gonna be able to do this. I don't know when that is.” “I want you to understand that even when the day comes, I'd like to be here as I have this sense of needing to constantly show my appreciation for all that you have done and meant to me.” Rush died two months later. Sometimes, when I look back through the archives of my old web television show, I feel a real sense of sadness. I’m often seeing friends who have since passed away. Val Kilmer was one of them. Val would often come up to my house to do the web show. I think he was genuinely intrigued by what we were doing — the technology, the independence, and the idea that we were finding a way to make media on our own, outside the mainstream system. He was a forward-thinking artist, a true original, and a friend.
