But Ronaldo, the three big differences are the headers that Ronaldo has scored four or five times more the wrong-footed goals, that Ronaldo has scored 30 or 40 per cent more, and he has scored more penalties. It just took me to the point where he is more complete in terms of the most important part of the game. The thing that tips it over the edge even more is that international record, of the most international goals ever. The fact that he’s won five Champions Leagues with teams that aren’t even as good as Messi’s team. Messi’s won more league titles with that Barcelona team, but I just feel that the international goal record and the Champions Leagues, aligned with the variety of goals that he scores, even though they’re very similar [in overall numbers], takes me to think that he is the greatest player of all time. 🗣️I looked at his goal breakdown. He can score with his left foot, his wrong foot. He can score with his right foot. He can score from distance. He is probably the best poacher now in world football. He can score penalties. That 35 PPG hadn’t been done since Jordan pulled it off in 1988 and wasn’t done again until 2018 when Harden did it. No one else will probably do that for another 15-20 years.
