He said he would probably be in Evin Prison, not because he planned to do anything wrong, but because in Iran, doing your job honestly as a lawyer can land you in prison. He was later murdered during protests by forces of the regime in Iran. In a system this tyrannical, even the people meant to uphold the law grow up expecting a prison cell.
