Today I again called for targeted military strikes aimed at degrading the Iranian regime's ability to massacre brave protestors. I also urged the Government to proscribe the IRGC, as well as groups with alleged links to the Ayatollah like the Islamic 'Human Rights' Organisation.

The Islamic Republic and the IRGC recruit children as young as 12 and send them to war. They abuse them as shields to survive. I don’t hear the defenders of human rights or the international organizations that claim to defend children’s rights speaking about this. Selective defense is not what a child needs. After promising to proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and then reneging on that promise and then, after the EU banned the agency, reaffirming its earlier pledge to proscribe it, the Government now appears to be walking back that commitment once again.
