Today I announced a new bill which would enforce minimum service and safety levels for vital public services. By delivering these safety levels, this government is ensuring that lives and livelihoods are not lost.

Will there be minimal standards at Westminster? Asking for a nation

Absolutely ridiculous. Rather than *force* a "minimum service" level, decent pay and conditions will ensure a much better than "minimum" level of service. Negotiate or resign.

500 excess deaths a day in NHS because you failed to provide staff to provide minimum safety levels So will you be fining yourself ?

How about imposing minimum service levels on members of Parliament? Ensuring that you provide a full time service for a full time wage. A restriction on bunking off work for some moonlighting. Or (consultancy as you like to call it). Its called taking the piss.

You don’t care about patients when they’re in danger of losing their lives because of cuts to public services by YOUR government. Yet suddenly you care, when workers are striking for better pay and conditions (including those that will improve patient safety). You hypocrite.

Said with a straight face. Lives are currently been lost in hospitals not because of #NHSStrikes but because of chronic underfunding. Stop gaslighting lad

In May 1933 the then Chancellor of Germany Adolf Hitler created the German Labour Front which not only seized the assets of all unions but also outlawed strikes. I think the term 'lesson from history' is very apt when it comes to the Tories..

You appear not to have noticed the people on strike are members of the public. If mp's were 100th as competent or worked as hard as the people striking, the country wouldn't be in the mess that 13 years of tory government have caused.
